I live in Brisbane's northern suburbs.

I live in the outskirts of the fourth largest city in Australia.

i was born in newcastle, but i don't remember much of that

Where abouts? I grew up in Slacks Creek (went to Mabel Park primary), and we own a house in Woodridge.

Um different parts. My grandparents lived near Mayes Cottage in Kingston (mum lives there now) I went to primary school at St Pauls, Woodridge. Have lived in Slacks Creek, Kingston, Woodridge...

Sometimes, I guess. Although living in the Whitsunday shire also has its advantages (beaches less than 5 minutes away, for instance).

Feels a little safer here in Bowen than it did in Woodridge.

We miss our family and friends from Logan and Brisbane, and our church too.

Sounds awesome Or maybe Melb. central? I'm in Lara, which is 15 mins down the road (heading to Geelong) from Werribee.

Well for many of our queenslander's I know many of the places you are talking about. from the time I was six months old I lived in Queensland initially on the Redcliffe peninsula. Then northern brisbane - Kallangur Lawnton and chermisde. My first teaching post was in Bowen followed by Gladstone, St George (4hr west of Toowoomba), Mooranbah and then Mount Isa before I came to live down here on the Gold coast. End of last year I was teaching in Logan (Kingston High - now called Kingston College) and am now teaching at Elenora
go to Toowoomba semi regular as many of my family live there

I am from the Blue Mountains just out of Sydney!
