Julie needs prayer, Pete being abusive verbally...

although I need a companion to love me, it seems Petes past is one of drinking and being abusive, and foul language. I cant seem to live a happy life with him because of his mood swings and temperament. I dont want the verbal abuse and have asked for a permanant breakup and breakoff of our engagement.

Please pray God will be my strength and I will be able to keep him away and not take abuse and foul language around me and my children.

God, please help Pete draw closer to You, and to get beyond his wants, desires and needs and find true peace and transformation in You. Amen.

I am so deeply sorry. You are wise to prayerfully make the break. My poor sister stayed in an abusive marriage for 10 years before finally leaving. I will remember Pete in prayers and pray for you while you mourn and for your children. Shalom.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I too believe you made the wise choice to end this before you went any further. You and your children are in my prayers and I will pray for pete too. He needs god in his life to break his habit. God bless you always ....

And i know though you love this man you made the right decision

od has the best at heart for all of us but most of us including me just cling to things that just keep harming us instead of moving forward
