New Features Of The Forums

These are some of the new features - make use of them, especially the time zone.

1. Timezones - every member can choose their own individual timezones so they know exactly what time it is.

2. Automatic Smilies - when posting, just click on the smilie panel to the left and the smilie will appear where your cursor is.

3. Automatic vB Code - when posting, just use the vB Code panel at the top to enhance text, post images or URLs.

4. Private Messaging - Send private messages to other members without letting anyone else read it.

5. Custom Avatars - choose from our extensive range, or upload your very own custom image under your username.

6. Custom User Title - instead of Junior Member or Member, you can call yourself whatever you like from the control panel.

7. Polls - you can now post polls in the forums.

8. Gender - edit your profile to show your gender on the forums.

9. Mood - edit your profile to show your mood on the forums, with a reason and a short message.

10. User Stats & Levels - user stats are now revealed

"Activity "drops and rises according to the members activeness.
"Popularity" determines how long a user has been with the forums, and how active they are.
"Experience" determines how close a user is to reaching the next level.

11. Left Column Toggle - for forum search, main menu, daily devotionals and bible search tools. Just click on Show Leftcolumn or Hide Leftcolumn on the Forum Mainpage in the Welcome Box.

It works if I use the automatic system up top on "Normal Mode". But it does NOT work if I switch it to "Enhanced" Mode and try to type in the box. If I use normal mode, I get another Window and I don't really like that as much. But that's okay, the site is still great! Thanks for your help

In the Enhanced Mode, when you click on a tag, you need to then click on the "Close Current Tag" button rather than the tag again.

For example, to make text BOLD, I click on Enhanced Mode, click on B, then type text, then click on x to close current tag.

Or you can just use normal mode, and enter text in the new window.

Avatar sizes should be 120 x 120 and less than 20 kb in size. They may be animated GIFs.
