Speaking of misconceptions about Liberals?

"Bedwetting liberal" is a derogatory term meant to infantalize liberals by depicting them as frightened and helpless. It is the kind of belittling name-calling that substitutes for rational thought. Where did it originate? Who knows? Probably some puerile, pusillanimous conservative bully-boy stuck in the schoolayrd and incapable of higher cognitive functioning thought it up.

At least, that'd be my guess.

Why does the bed in "bedwetting liberal" have to refer to the liberal's bed? I mean, someone's definately peed in Pat Robertson's corn-flakes, why not in his bed?
