Ive heard lots of different ideas so Im not sure who to believe but if anyone knows what the best time of day to do your workout is I would appreciate it. Right now I usually do it in the afternoon around 3 or 4pm.
From my experience I would say that it doesn't really matter. You are burning the same amount of calories no matter what time of day it is. I choose to workout in the afternoon because that is when I have the most energy.

It's true that you burn similar calories in the workout, itself, but remember that your body still burns calories after your workout is over (kind of like the way a steak continues to cook itself even after you take it off the grill). By working out earlier, you burn more calories throughout the day and you'll also find that you have more energy all day long.

I just got done explaining this point in another thread. I think you are a copycat ;)

I agree that you have to decide what works for you.

However, it is scientific fact that when you wake up and hit the gym first thing in the morning even before you had breakfast, your body has to go to the store rooms ( fat cells ) to get enery for the workout - since you didn't have breakfast there is no other source than your fat, especially if you do cardio.

But that's my routine.

Yes, but it is also true and scientific fact that cardio is about movement and movement with a certain amount of intensity. That is what is most important. Movement burns calories. Somebody with more energy and ability to workout at night is going to have a much more effective workout than somebody forcing themselves to workout in the morning because they think they'll be burning more fat. At the end of the day it does not matter. Day or night, it is still the relationship between calories in and calories out that counts!
