Pinky, art thou pondering that which I am pondering?

Me thinks so, Brain, verily, but dost thou think Pete Rose by any other name would still smell as sweaty?

Ladies and gentlemen, I regret that I have to inform you that this thread will be temporarily closed for some staff clean up of some "Off-Topic" post cleaning.

I will try to have this thread re-opened as soon as it is possible.

I apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

God Bless

Till all are one.

Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Umm, I think so, Brain, but three men in a tub? Ooh that’s unsanitary.

I have gone through this thread and deleted a few of the OP's remarks, and in a few posts where you may have quoted one of the deleted posts, I have edited out those deleted quotes only. The rest of your content remains in tact.

I have even went back and edited my own remarks.

Nevertheless, I wish to remind not only myself, but I want to remind others to keep this thread from derailing and to help keep this thread on topic.

I want to remind us of this rule:

Issues with staff decisions should be taken to the staff member, then the reconciliation team, period. Don't post them, don't PM them to others, don't take them to Lee.

Lets do our best to keep this thread on topic because I personally believe there is some good in it.

I will now re-open this thread.

God Bless

Till all are one.

Could this be properly referred to as the "Mushroom Edict"?

Hey bro, I got yer back. Even if I don't post there for a while, PM's can help. Van is trying to take over the forum. Ormly got his ears pinned back in the last couple of days, he was getting pretty snarky, and got hammered for it. Van is the real problem. Somehow, someway, he needs to be shut down.

Oh I came so close to blowing off the boycott.

Have you seen Van's latest thread?

Before and From

Typical Van tactics.

Lord, give me strength.

God Bless

Till all are one.

i just had a look at a post made by myself to Van ages ago , nothing much changes ;

van said:
You have got to be kidding Johnny_Redeemed, Cy is the only one who copies long lists compiled by others and bombs the thread. Ben presents long lists, but they are his lists, quite a difference. And I present long lists, the same verses posted by Cy but with my own rebuttal, so yet again, quite a difference. RT is defended by sophistry. Opponents are charged with the very tactics used by the RT advocates. Hence Ben and I are charged with doing what Cy does. In the propaganda trade, its called innoculation.
van said:
RT is a form of religious fatalism: nothing we can do, prayer, evangelism, reading the bible to kids in Sunday School, will make any difference in who goes to heaven and who goes to hell according to RT.

"What a grief!I thought yesterday was too good to be true , I almost posted and said well done for quitting your campaign of hatred , and falsification of the Reformed position , but alas you are back to the usual offensive "Calvinist bashing " , not only is it extremely tedious (yes you could call your approach innoculation ) but is devoid of evidence not to mention love , where are these quotes I have asked for that show that Calvinism and fatalism are one and the same ??...... if you cannot provide PROOF then I can only assume you are not interested in a fair well reasoned discussion but in a self indulgent name calling game ......... have you any idea how comments that are needless , such as Reformed position is false , Reformed position is defended by sophistry (lies) sound to another Christian holding dearly to this view ? Do you even care about offending another Christian ?Have I not repeatedly said that Divine Sovereigty does not rule out the "free" acts of men ?
and sure I have posted the Calvinist position repeatedly , which is far more than you have ever done when answering alledged falshood with blind prejudice (no evidence)Little wonder you are on several Christian's IGNORE list ...... examine yourself brother.
And for the record Van believes in OSAS , but does he repeatedly bash Arminians and declare they are in error , that their view is defended by sophistry ? NO!!!! He saves his campaign for one group of believers only ..... The Reformed Christians ! "

EX:

Free will palaver
Pretended autonomy
Baby Jesus cries.

Torches and Molotov coctails are soooo yesterday. Move into the present with rocket launchers and phasers. ;)

Yeah... but this is a PEASANT revolt. We're low budget pillagers. :D
