• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Could you all please pray for my mum who hasn't been well for a long time. She is in constant physical pain, bit depressed, some respiratory problems. She is now attepting to quit smoking with the aid of medication plus prayers ofcourse.

Today has been her first day smoke free and finding it very difficult, so I ask you all to please pray for her, that the Lord may give her strength, patience to help her get through this.

My mum is a child of God, He is her only friend/mentor, she has never failed him, but perhaps this ordeal is a bit too much for her alone.

"Dear Lord, You know how much my mum means to me, You also know what she has been through and still goes through. I beg of You that you have mercy and heal her of her many illness, ONLY You and nobody else can do it. She trusts You and also needs You with all her heart. Don't let her fall into temptation and start smoking again, she really wants to quit and has to for her own health, she is trying Lord. I thank You for taking care of her and I do believe she will beat this addiction and You will restore her health according to Your will. In Jesus name....Amen! Thank You Lord, thank You." :amen:
