1 dream, and 2 visions

Just so you know: I was saved at ten baptized at twenty-four and am still faithful.

Ok, its good to be able to enjoy what you have shared. You say yourself what it is about: you are at a crossroads (probably just feeling dead in your sin), the Holy Spirit gives you some perspective by putting you in a tree, then, being inspired, you ask God about His love (from your heart) and He responds that He loves the light, then you decide that you want to love the light as well, so you start wondering how you need to listen to enjoy the light, only you don't really grasp it, so you experience all this wierd pressure business...

Seems pretty straight forward to me; the only thing missing is that you don't really verbalize what it is that is on your heart that you want... Jesus said "ask", I would ask (I need to do that more myself).

Do you know when 3 years ago? In 2004 or 2005? Do you remember what month?

Oak Tree: Great strength to weather storms; solid place of refuge.

Tree: Individual person or church; Jesus; covering; leaders; sanctuary; power of evil people; note the health of the tree and
where it is planted; a nation or denomination.

Zechariah 11:1-3:

"Open your doors, O Lebanon,
so that fire may devour your cedars!

Wail, O pine tree, for the cedar has fallen;
the stately trees are ruined!
Wail, oaks of Bashan;
the dense forest has been cut down!

Listen to the wail of the shepherds;
their rich pastures are destroyed!
Listen to the roar of the lions;
the lush thicket of the Jordan is ruined!"

Commentary:
1) "The pride of these two, the cedars of Lebanon and the oaks of Bashan, is to be destroyed... The two means of destruction of trees, fire and axe, are irresistible as God prepares the way for the return of his people... Even the lush thicket of the Jordan does not escape the terrifying arrival of the Lord in delivering judgment."

2) "Some interpret this brief poem as a taunt song anticipating the lament that will be sung over the destruction of the nations' power and arrogance, represented by the cedar, the pine and the oak. Their kings are represented by the shepherds and the lions... Now the scene is one of desolation for the land, followed by the threat of judgment and disaster for both land and people."

I don't know brother, but the Two Witnesses came to my mind. The wheat field was harvested....the Rapture? This is what immediately came to mind. I'm still so new to the study of the Good Book. It's just an impression....

I also saw the two witnesses of Revelation but I also don't believe they are just two people and I see Jews and Christians as the two beloved of God, too.

The reason I asked about the timing is that the Lord began giving me dreams and visions in 2004 and he also showed me something about the two witnesses, so I wonder with all the dreams people are having now about the antichrist if we might be mid-trib. I can't say with any certainty that we are, but it certainly feels that way or that we soon will be.

I'm not a pre-trib rapture person but I do know the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back and one day we will meet him in the air and I look forward to that day with great anticipation!!

It is written "a wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign" (see the gospels). You may not make much of the interpretations given here, but it is wrong for you to make nothing of them.

I for one have learned from your dream, that there is no limit to the light in which God loves to dwell.

You said that this dream was at a point in your life when you were new in your walk. you also said that you believe this has to do with your calling in life.

I dont know where you are at in your walk or what God is doing in your life....but from the perspective of when the dream was given to you I would say this: You came to a place in which you could have gone right or left....you stopped there to possibly think about where to go(?)....then the tornado(whirlwind...which is prevalent in the OT) came and threw you into the oak tree.....than two more whirlwinds brought the two whom God loves.....I think that your interpretation of them being the Gentiles and Jews is correct.


It could have been symbolic of what took place in order for you to come to Him(I dont know your testimony) or it may have been Him saying that you will come to a place in which you have to stop and trust in Him and He will take you to the palce He wants you to be at. Once there He shall bring those whom He loves to you. The place in which you will be will be sturdy and strong, est. in Him.

It is written "Either make the tree good and the fruit good or make the tree bad and the fruit bad. For the tree is known by its fruit."

Unless you discern clearly between the interpretations for good or for bad (saying "that's not it" is not enough), you may end up with an experience as ambiguous as the dream was to begin with. Just a thought.

Before I tell my dream, and visions please no psychological crap.. I dont remember one dream, or vision from God in the bible being given for the reason of telling the prophets or people of God that they are to stressed, or that they have hidden anger, and resentment. So please please please no emomtional interpitations. I need some insight and guidance on these dreams/visions, and perfer someone who isnt gonna tell me a lie, or try to pick apart the dream logically. I know God uses symbols in dreams, but I dont belive everyone has the ability to interpret dreams and visions by some book, or looking dynamiclly at the dream through self imporving means.. Ive picked apart this dream over and over again, and havent found a sadisfying answer.. Ive told tons of people about it seeking an interpritation, and sadly I have looked in christian dream interpritation books... yuck very dull, and I dont think the symbols we recieve are in bulk.. I think God speak individually to each of us.. So with all this said.. Please if there is any wise man or woman out there than can interpret this dream, please respond!

Dream-

I was driving down a road in the country, and as I was travling I quickly came to a T in a road. But before I could turn right or left a tornado came down and picked up my car and throw me in a big oak tree that was in the field north of the T. It was perfectly centered north of the T. When my car crashed into the branches of the oak tree I got out and stood on the branches which were bear as though the tree wasnt in season.. Yet the tree was strong, and large, and certainly not dead. As I stood on the branches of the tree I saw 2 more tornados in the distance coming towards me. As the tornados came closer I noticed there were two men within the tornados dressed in prophets cloths. When the tornado got within about 25 yards the tornados lifted back up to the sky, and the men remained.. When the tornados had fully recieded back into the sky I hard a voice from Heaven say "These are the two that I love."
Than I woke up.

Ok I will try to post this again.
I believe it is possible that the two represent Elijah & Enoch & their return to earth to preach repentance. The tornado(teaching) threw you into the mighty oak(s) of God.
The roads represent the last opportunity to choose either the broad or the narrow (as in the left being the goat & the rite the Lord). The oaks appearance suggests that many believe the Lord is so loving that judgment will be light or that God is not alive so they have chosen to live however they desire.
& once their preaching of repentance & grace in finnished they will return to Heaven.

Vision 1
One night I Was praying all night to God. I begged Him to see the depths of His love, and the depths of who He is. I also prayed for other things that night.. But as the night reached 5am I was still awake praying, and suddenly my back felt as though there was electricity within it. As this strange occurance was happening I prayed to God "I trust you Lord" as soon as I said those words the electricity enterened my whole body, and as soon as I blinked my eyes the once dark room I Was in turned into a bright array of colors, and it looked exactly like I was looking through a kolidascope, but this kolidascope was amazingly beautiful.. the Colors were like liquid perfectly changing colors as they twirled. Again I say the room went from pitch black to as bright as day as I was seeing this vision.. I couldnt see anything in the room, but just the colors as though I was looking through the kolidascope. than I blinked....

The colors represent the movement & love of the Lord in visual form. Once I had a vision during church of twirling ribbons reaching from heaven earth in the most beautiful & rich colors imaginable. & weaving in & out or the ribbons were cooing doves. Amazing it was as is what you were shown.

Vision 2
Than I blinked and it was as though I was standing in a very large dark room.. This room wasnt my own... I was living in a small hotel room dorm at this time. As I looked in this room I could see the faint out lines of objects, but couldnt see what they were.. Also there was a weird lamp thing right in from of my face... it looked like this O

but had a center piece that held the three bowl looking circles together.. I have no idea what the object was because the room was very dark! As I was looking in this room, I herd the breath of God.. I didnt see Him, but I herd a very distant breath, as though He was breathing on me. In fact I herd the breath so clear that it was as though He was standing behind me, with his head over my shoulder and breathing into my ear. Than I blinked again, and I was back in my room.. Through this whole experiance I felt no terror, but just the peace of God.. I know that when I felt the electricity feeling in my back it scared me, but I decided I would trust God, and when I told Him I trusted Him I was given those visions, and felt His peace through them. Anyways, as I layed on my bed after these visions, I felt a strange presents come over my face, it was almost as the there was a pressing on my face, but I felt no hands, or physical touch.. It was as though the gravity around my head was heavyer.. Than as this happened I once again told God I trust Him, and thats when I felt the pressure enter my ears... and I could feel this pressure as though it was entereing my ears, and than coming back out of my ears, and than entering. This continued for about 5 minutes, and didnt hurt one bit.. Didnt even scare me. Anyway please if anyone gots an interpritation to any of these things.. I would be very happy to hear them.. I know for a fact that these were genuin, and of God.

I believe you may have seen the lamps in Heaven that the scriptures talk of being the 7 Spirits of the Lord? I will let others that know more of this expound on the lamps of the Lord.
& the pressure you encountered is the Holy Presence of the Lord. When the Lord meets the flesh, I know from experience, the flesh becomes completely overwhelmed. Bro these are awesome experiences.

No interpetation here. Just thought i would share when I felt the ower of God. I was at a healing service. The pastor was commanding cancer to leave a person's body in the name of Jesus... I had my arms up in praise & was singing along with the rest...when suddenly my arm shot out in front of me & I felt the power of God AS ELECTRICY . My forefinger was pointing to the person that was being healed of cancer...as the pastor commanded caner to leave!
