Research has shown that people who wrote down 3 good things that happened to them at the end of the day increased their happiness significantly over a 6 month period. This is something I've already been doing a little of before I knew about the research, but I would like to make a point to do it every day now. Since I have an anxiety disorder, I sometimes find myself in the car on the way home remembering the embarassing or insecure moments of the day and worrying over those instead of concentrating on all of the positive things that happened. I think this would be a good exercise for me to learn to concentrate on the positive aspects of my day. So tonight I will be back here to report the good stuff that happened today!
