very good decision. i can´t say i have personal experience with the military, but it´s as great a place as any to have God an active participant in your life!
Your faith will grow, or i should say, my faith has grown in direct proportion to the relationship that i have and maintain with Christ Jesus. You will find great faith in the bible, from the centurion, to Paul, to Abraham, the father of our faith... but don´t discount Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our Faith!
i wish i were at home right now, i have some wonderful notes i came accross regarding faith... but really, if you have your bible, you have all the notes and more that i might be able to give you. The bible is quite explicit in that you have not because you ask not, or you ask amis... to those who lack wisdom and understanding let them ask... ask and it will be given unto you that the father may be glorified in the son...
these scripts all relate to tangible items sure, but they all relate to your growing realionship with the Lord, which will give you the increase in faith that you want. i picture faith as a muscle, if you don´t use it, it sucks
but if you are diligent to train and follow Gods leading, when the time is right you WILL have faith, you won´t be scrambling to get faith. Again, congrats on your recognition that you want MORE faith.
In training for my faith to increase i began asking God for items or issues that others might consider insignificant, (God where are my keys, i ask you father to show me where my bike keys are in Jesus name
) but with every success, with every answer to prayer you learn to rely wholey on God ( i ain´t there yet
, faith is an ongoing thing for me )
