Ok...............so as long as hubby has been deployed (10 months now) I have not had that "fear" installed in me. Like I have not sat around and worried about him, etc. But all of a sudden, I have been overcome with something. I try to avoid the news, etc. But recently the news has been right in my face. With whatever Turkey has been doing raises risk of hubby being pulled to that border for linguist skills. The recent huge attacks on the "green zone" in Iraq (suppose to be safe zone) and the annoucement of that sect leader threatning he will most likely not adhere to cease fire any longer on US troops and Iraqis. Also, with the Russia/Serbia thing. My mind just wanders and goes out of control. I get all nervous, my heart beats real fast, and worry. I hate feeling like this.

Extra prayers for hubby and all of our troops safety would be wonderful! I wish it was today he was coming home, not 6 months from now.

God bless :crosseo:

Hugs and prayers!
When I get those creepy feelings I just try to think about the fact that they have been trained so well to deal with these things. That there is a reason why the US military is considered the best in the world. We can't control everything in life but we can give ourself the best training possible to attempt that. And after all the bombs and terror and all that, it's still more dangerous to drive to work in the morning.
I think every military spouse goes through some freakout moments and that's totally natural. It shows how much you care... when I have one of those and I talk to my priest he looks at me, sighs and says: You just have to put your faith in God. (cuz it's always the same story, me trying to control something that I can't).

Take care and I hope time passes really fast!
