Is my 'scienctific' explanation of my world spider theory any less un-feasible?

You see. I believe that a giant spider made the earth and all its life from webs it spun. There is AMPLE proof for this.

You see spiders web is a protein. One of the major building blocks of life is protein. EVERY living creature has proteins in it. Where did these proteins come from?

Easy. The world spiders web.

Hmmm. A worthwhile theory. However, your first opposition is going to come in the form of the question of carbon. Spiders are not known for producing carbon, so there has to be a source for that. Humankind would not exist were it not for carbon.

However, your theory does amply explain mans need to make bad horror movies based on spiders. I have recently (as it was Halloween I suppose) viewed several of said films - Giant Spider Invasion, The Horrors of Spider Island, Earth vs. the Spider, just to name a few. The problem is, all of these spiders, in one way or another, wanted to get rid of humankind. Now, this does, oddly, add a bit of credence to your theory. If spiders did create the earth, then it would stand to reason that they would want to get rid of humans, as humans have become the dominant species. They could then reclaim what is rightully theirs. However, this begs the question, why would they have created the humans in the first place? Perhaps as a food source?

I think your theory has promise, but you should form a few valid hypotheses before submitting it for peer review.

Also, have you considered the Wombat? Word has it that texts have been recently uncovered which could very well indicate that wombats played a large part in the formation of planet earth. Not that that would invalidate your theory, as it is quite possible that the wombats and spiders were in cahoots.

What you are attempting to do is mock God, but God can not be mocked.

Galatians 6:7  Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

2 Kings 2:23-24  Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, "Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!" [24] So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Unless I'm mistaken and these creationist scientists have created their own race of subservient human beings, and also happen to be omnipotent and omniscient... what was mocked was creation scientists... not God.

Yep, the power of life and death is in the tongue. Those who speak forth life, will live. Those who mock and belittle so as to tear down and destroy, will die.

Proverbs 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Eccles. 10:12
The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious,
    But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up;

Maybe you ought to start by practicing your own preaching.

Yet another endorsement for the "Shut Your Mouth and Do as You're Told" school of Theology. Questions, discussions, dissention, and irreverence forbidden by divine mandate.

Might as well shut down this board now before God strikes us all dead.

Sounds more to me like God will be mocked, and has been mocked already; He just won't put up with it. Unless "Thou shalt not make fun of bald people" is a Commandment I missed.

So much for Divine love and forgiveness, hmmm? Pretty short temper on this God of yours...
Not that I have a problem with revenge; it's a common enough human weakness.

P.S. Read the Mark Twain quote on my sig line and tell me if he's wrong.

Actually, that depends on your theology. Most theologians believe that apart from God people are already dead, since their life is so temperal.

It is only when you receive the eternal life of Jesus in you, that you actually come alive.

It could be difficult for some people to know if a "creation  scientist" represented God or not. In the case of the story of the 42 children, it would seem that they did not believe that the prophet represented God. It turned out that he did represent God and that they had made a deadly mistake.

There is another story about Moses' sister Miriam, that serves as a warning in regards to speaking against a servant of God. I do not want to copy the whole story here, but this is a part of it:

Numbers 12:1-2  Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. [2] So they said, "Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the Lord heard it.

Numbers 12:9-10 So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed. [10] And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.

Like I said, this is only a part of the story. People can look it up in their Bible to read all of it.

There was no question to the Hebrews that there was a God. He was with them in the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. At the foot of the mountain he presented Himself to them in a way that scared them so much that they wanted Moses to interceed for them because they were so afraid of God.

Why He does not present Himself to people today in that way, I am not sure. But He has been manifest in His Son Jesus, and it is though Jesus that we know Him. As a Christian it is our job to tell the world about God. He could do a much better job Himself, if He did not go through us, to be sure. But it brings Him much more honor and glory that He is able to work in us and though us in the way He does.

God does deal direct with all people. He will speak to their heart, usually starting when they are a child. But they harden their heart against him. They deny that God has ever spoken to them. I believe at some point in their life all people know the truth, but they choose to harden their heart against the truth. The choose to reject the truth and believe a lie.

A cup of coffee, you make me want to laugh. The resurrection power of God is more powerful than a atomic bomb. A bomb can kill and destroy, the power of God can bring all the dust and parts back together again and give life.

Right after 911 I found a interesting sermon by John Wesley (1872) on what if a person died, and got eaten by a fish and someone ate the fish and so on. In the end, God got the matter back to the origional body and raised that body from the dead. Even if you burn your body and spread your ashes to the wind. God can raise that body from the dead.

Unless you think that creation scientists are prophets of God himself, I say again: God was not the one being mocked. Creation scientists were.
