What does the Bible say?


I would like to start with Daniel and give as much detail as possible regards prophecies, their geographical locations and pinpoint their time factor and go through to Revelation. Explain the Judgment of the Lamb who is found worthy. Examine the plagues and how false miracles and teaching will delude many, how the seven trumpet time scale works out along with the three woes and the two witnesses & identify them clearly. The bowls of the wrath of God and join up with Math 21, Mark 13 Luke 24, who are told to read Daniel by Jesus to understand "the time of the end." Identify the geographical location of the visions of Daniel and what countries they clearly are, then go to Joel and finally right through to the "end of time." Armageddon, the imprisonment of Satan for a thousand years. The Millennium. Finally explain Gog and Magog identify them and their geographical locations, then heaven and the fulfillment of the promise of eternal life, keeping to the intent of the Bible.

The pages of Daniel’s prophecies are starting to be turned now!

I will use my own words and if you wish, you can check me out using your Bibles, I do hope you will. When we get to prophecy I will use Bible and comment only. I intend to go right through Daniel.
Daniel 1.

In Daniel 1. We have Daniel as a young man.
In the third year of Jehoiakim King of Judah, the Babylonian King Nebuchadezzar surrounds Jerusalem.
In verse 2. God allows Jehoiakim and some of His treasures from the Temple to be handed over to Nebuchadezzar.
The Temple treasures are added to the god of the Babylonians.

In verse 2, 3, 4. The King orders his chief court official, Ashpenaz, to bring in some of the brightest and the most physically outstanding young Hebrew men.
The King wanted these young men with a learning aptitude, to serve in the Kings palace.
He was to teach them everything Babylonian, even to the point of changing their names.
In verse 5. The King assigned them food from his table which was of the best and only the best as Babylonian food goes.
They were to enter the Kings service after three years of training.


Verse 6. These men, some from Judah, were called, Daniel, Hananiah,
Mishael, and Azariah.
Verse 7. The chief official gave them new names.
Daniel was called Beltshazzar. Hananiah, was called Shadrach.
Mishael, was called Meshach, and Azariah was called Abednego.
Verses 8 – 18. Daniel was concerned about eating food that would defile him and the others and spoke to the chief official and suggested that he and the others live off vegetables and fresh water. The official was worried about this, because he thought that if they looked poorly, the King would have his head and that, was a dead to right certainty.
Any rate, the chief relented and for ten days only, they would be allowed to try the diet out, just to see if Daniel and the others lost any tone.
However, after ten days they looked better than the others, who had been eating from the Kings table.
The chief was that impressed with the results, he put everybody on the new healthy diet.
Now the hand of God was in this, in that He gave them a learning ability next to none, but to Daniel, He gave him an ability to understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
Verses 18 – 21. At the appointed time the King spoke to the lads but found Daniel exceptionally intelligent and intuitive, compared to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, so they all entered the Kings service.
All of the lads were ten times better than all his enchanters and magicians throughout the whole of his empire!
In verse 21 Daniel remains there, into the first year of king Cyrus.

Chapter 2.
Verse 1. Nebuchadnezzar was in his second year of reign, when he had a dream. The dream troubled him out of a good nights sleep.
2. He summoned the sorcerers and enchanters, they all gathered around to hear the dream.
3. He says "I have had this dream and it troubles me." What does it mean?
4. Now you know the game plan, grovel, grovel, and try to keep your head and shoulders together, right? and try not to leave the room in boxes cut into tiny little pieces! In Aramaic they say, O King live for ever, bowing down.
So they say, tell us your servants the dream and we will tell you the interpretation.
5 – 6 - 7. Now the King is no dummy! You don’t get where he is if you are and they all know it! Nebuchadnezzar says to the astrologers.
I have FIRMLY decided that if you don’t come up with the goods, I will have you cut into little pieces and your houses will be burned!
Now pardon me for laughing but those poor fellows, I bet they started shaking and gulping right there and then.
Of course, the King offered a bountiful reward for their wisdom in solving this dilemma.
How on earth, they must have thought, are we going to tell the King what he dreamt, then explain it to him?
8. Now these guys are scared stiff! They ask again please tell your servants the dream and we will interpret it.
The King is onto them and he knows they are trying to gain some little time and he lets them know as much!
Again he reminds them of what he has "decided FIRMLY."
9 He the King says, "If you do not tell me the dream there is just one penalty!"
He then starts to accuse them of conspiring to mislead him with wicked things and he knows they are hoping the situation will change.
" So tell me the dream then I will know you can interpret it for me."
10. Now reality sets in, they thinking fast, say no man on earth can do this.
Now I know this much, if God has a hand in this, which He has, they are going to feel a real tight squeeze!
Between a very stern King and GOD.
Now these guys are desperate and for just a moment they forget themselves, now believe me, when dealing with this King you don’t stop your concentration for one second, right?
Well they did, they said in verse 10. No one can do what the King asks!
Mistake number one!
10. The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
Mistake number two. In other words it was a stupid question that was so ridiculous to even ask that no one else would think to ask it. It is such a difficult question that only the gods could answer it!
11.And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

Now the King lets them shoot at the gab a bit and they put their feet firmly in their mouths, virtually saying that they consider the question a foolish query!
The King, becomes really angry and does his block.
12 – 14. For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. 13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.


When the decree went out all were condemned including Daniel and his friends.

14 The commander Arioch turned up and Daniel was very tactful and showed great wisdom in addressing the commander.
15. He asked Arioch, Why has the King put out such a harsh decree?
Arioch explained to Daniel the whole story.
16. Daniel went straight to the King asked for time to interpret the dream for him.
17. Daniel went straight back to his friends and told them about the matter.
18. He urged them to plead for the mercy of the GOD of heaven concerning this mystery.
He in faith prayed that they would escape death.
Daniel had to rely on God completely for all their lives just like we will in the "time of the end."
19. During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel by GOD!
Daniel praised the GOD of heaven.
20. He said.
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
The above is prophetic, the Father will change seasons, but that is another study.
I just want to say here that at Armageddon the Lamb will again, bring down Kings even at the end, nothing changes with the proud!



22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
Only the Father knows the Hour, day, month, year, Twice the angel of death has flown over Isreal to save her on the 12 hour the tenth day, 7th month, 7 year Passover & again including the Jubilee!
Acts 1:7. It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. This in itself is an interesting study.



23 "I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand."

This same gift earnestly sought of power is going to be repeated, when we receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the "time of the end."
Joel chapter 2.
"And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
32 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
As the LORD has said,
Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.

Prophecy Countdown.

1 "For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.

My question is, is their going to be, as there was in Daniel’s time, false prophesying, Miracles and counterfeits, a false Armageddon?
If the Lamb that speaks like a dragon turns up in Jerusalem as the counterfeit then we can be sure that everything that can counter God and His people will be done by satanic forces!

Rev 13. 11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

Satan will appear on earth, the counterfeit lamb to lead a one world order from Jerusalem.

Rev 12:9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Isaiah 14:13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION, IN HHE SIDES OF THE NORTH: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
The above is the Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple will be built the mosque will come down as can be proven later.
Jerusalem will be the leading economy, God will make it impossible to buy &amp; sell Satan says you can. That’s how we can receive the mark of the beast.


Rev 20:1. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Matt 24. 24. "For false Christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 24 "See, I have told you beforehand.
This prophecy is repeated in Mark 13. 22. When discussing The Lord’s second coming!

This is for the Preterist who insist Daniel’s prophecies are all fulfilled.
Matt 24:3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be THE SIGN OF THY COMING AND THE END OF THE WORLD?
Jesus says "READ DANIEL and understand!"
Matt 24:15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand<IMG alt="" src="http://www.christianforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif">
Mark 13:14. But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Jesus repeats "read Daniel understand." It is stated more than once, twice in fact, therefore, IT IS SURE.
Daniel 2: 24. Daniel went to Arioch and asked him. Do not execute the wise men of Babylon, Take me to the King and I will interpret the dream.
25 Arioch does as requested and states to the King which was a big risk for him that the man from Judah can interpret the dream.

Daniel is totally reliant on Jesus in this matter, no man can answer this question not even the King.

26 The King asks (Belteshazzar) Daniel,

27 Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?"
27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, "The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king.
28 "But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:

Not only does Daniel tell the King of the dream but he tells the King of his very thoughts, but also tells the King what will happen in the Latter days, or "time of the end."
Can you imagine how invasive that must have felt for the King to have someone even a God he knew nothing of, knowing his very thoughts?
Daniel is very careful to give ALL the glory for this act to GOD!


29 "As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be.

30. "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart.


Daniel states that he is no wiser than others.
Why did God think highly of Daniel?
As highly as the lady that gave ALL the little she had in faith, which held more value than the larger amounts that others gave..
God loves those that need Him and act in faith!
I hear constantly church folk tell me, "The most important thing is the love of Jesus." Sorry, can’t agree, Jesus will destroy those whom He loves. Try the first commandment, that is the most important to God, It’s how we love Him that Matters to Him. He can’t do a thing for us if we reject Him.



31"You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome.

The statue by the description was awesome whose splendor was excellent!
Now of course this is a proud King listening to this explanation.


32"This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze,
33"its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
34"You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.
35"Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

That was the dream and as we can see the statue’s metallic quality lessens from the head down through to the toes.
It is obvious even to the King.


36"This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king.

Now Daniel must be careful and use tact, yet be truthful in the interpretation of this prophetic dream to fulfill his obligation to God.
He must convey the message Honestly without fear or favor as His people will do "at the time of the end."

37 "You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory;
38"and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold.

The King sits and Daniel by this time would have his full attention. A little aggrandisement for the King softens what is to come.
39 "But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.
Can you remember an earlier verse when we are told that Daniel would stay in captivity for 70 years until Cyrus turns up?
Daniel 1: 21. And Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus. That was exactly on the 70<SUP>th</SUP> year of captivity for the Israelites predicted by Jeremiah to end. The Medes and Persians then come to power and are the silver part of the statue. Chest and arms of silver.

Jeremiah 25: 11.And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12‘Then it will come to pass, when seventy years are completed, that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will make it a perpetual desolation.

Poor King Nebuchadnezzar, he was so proud and I think he didn’t like too much of what was being said but what could he say?
There’s this young man, a slave telling him his own thoughts, can you imagine that?
Of course in the same verse Daniel mentions the bronze empire that of course was Greece under Alexander.

44 "And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others.
This empire was to be Rome!

of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

I refer to revelation for good reason, Daniel 7:11.

Dan7: 11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till THE BEAST WAS SLAIN, and his body destroyed, and given to the BURNING FLAME. 12As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

A SEASON = ONE YEAR. TIME = A YEAR = 15 MONTHS.
These verses are of the same story but I will get back to that later. Armageddon period 15 months when the remnant are slain with the sword. Thanks 66Books.

Rev 19:20.And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These BOTH WERE CAST ALIVE INTO A LAKE OF FIRE burning with brimstone.

Rev 19: 21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Daniel 2: 45 "Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure."
Daniel’s description took the King right to "the time of the end."

&nbsp;41"Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.
The last Kingdom the Roman empire just collapses, dies and is divided into the nations it controlled who assert their independence and very powerful new world nations appear, as we now can see.
42"And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.

43"As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

This loose band of nations will not be as cohesive as past empires.

44"And in the DAYS OF THESE KINGS THE GOD OF HEAVEN WILL SET UP HIS KINGDOM which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
This vision takes the king right to "the time of the end."
I will just dart over to Revelation 19: 19 – 20.to pinpoint the times that these kings are around, all at the same time, together. They are future Kings that appear and fight the Lamb at Armageddon.
Rev 19: 19. And I saw the BEAST, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

The whole idea of these prophecies is to bring us to the "time of the end." and then to the "end of time." Which are two different periods.

Nebuchadnezzar The King is now writing Daniel chapter four!
What has happened to this once proud king?
Something has eventuated to make him sure and sound of mind in a faith in it’s fullness?
Understand that Daniel is recounting events, he was a clever man in that when he records what he said, he is very accurate as to the terms and phrases he used and knowing how he did not understand fully the protocol or behaviour required of him he never the less wrote what he had spoken at the time of his slow conversion!



1.Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 2I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3How great his signs! and how mighty his wonders! his kingdom an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion from generation to generation.

In the last verses the King mentions the words, "signs,
mighty, great, High God, everlasting kingdom and peace."
I think the first sign of great wisdom is when a man fears (respects) God.
This once violent man speaks of "peace multiplying unto all nations."
We can see a character change that has taken place and that in itself, is a miracle.
However, Satanic agencies were afoot working and whispering in the kings ear, in the form of the Chaldeans. His pride which manifested in anger tantrums when he was challenged, The Chaldeans knew and manipulated the king to their advantage. The king was influenced because of his infancy, in understanding of what the true God required of him at that particular time.
Lucifer will try to imitate our Lord at "the time of the end" and we will be faced with false teachers with all the trouble they cause!
When the Bible is taken to the whole world and is taught by "a people strong in the word" and understood by the those hungry for truth. If folk are shown what the Bible says before the false teachings of men get a chance to influence their minds first, it will make truth a lot easier for them to understand!

As we read we can see, the King is confirming miraculous signs manifest by God, through His servant Daniel.

4I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace: 5I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

The wise men must be have thought. OH NO! Not another dream!
So off they trundle to the palace as ordered.

7Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. 8But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying, 9O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

The king was struggling to find the truth and used terms like, "holy gods."
The struggle between truth and error will be no different during "the time of the end," for those in the infancy of faith and understanding as the king of Babylon was, will be vulnerable to church orgaisations wanting to fill their churches with growing numbers. That is why we have no time to waste, arguing with those that believe in a church teaching.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TD vAlign=top>Isaiah 30: 10. People, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: 10Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
It takes a lot of heart searching. Hard and long research, seeking and looking to and fro in the Holy Scriptures and pleading urgent requests in prayer for the understanding of Daniel, The Disciples left the padded pews and sat on rocks to hear the truth from John the Baptist.

2nd Timothy 2:15.Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Moses struggled with the same problem of fake miracles by magicians influencing a Pharaoh. Moses not only had to show to the Egyptians and his own people that their God was all powerful and that he, Moses was appointed to lead them!
At "the time of the end" we will need the same outpouring of the Holy Spirit that happened in the upper room in Jerusalem only on a bigger scale to counter falsehood. The "falling away must occur first."
A falling away or apostasy. (see Acts 21: 21.)

JOEL 2: 28. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.




Joel 2: 32. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Not only will "The Lord roar from Mount Zion" but we are to be delivered after a "remnant," from all the tribes of Israel.


So I find it impossible to believe, that when some Gentile churches claim to be "the remnant, the 144 thousand" I have to smile and say "that is not what the Bible says" please read Rev 7: 4.

Rev 7: 4. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

The rest of us, Gentiles and Jews, make up the group in the following verse.

Because the last passage says "all nations" I must insist that the 2nd group also includes Jews who are not part of the 144 thousand remnant! The 144 thousand are All virgins and all men!
The 144 thousand are special and are "the remnant," promised to Abraham.

The Bible is a Jewish Book, about Jews, when Gentile nations are mentioned it is because they were or will be involved with Israel. When they read the Bible they read about themselves. When we read it we read about them. It is so hard for Gentiles to understand this fact and we impose our Gentile traditions on a Jewish Book. Getting back to the 144 thousand.

What has happened to this once proud king?
Something has eventuated to make him sure and sound of mind in a faith in it’s fullness?
Understand that Daniel is recounting events, he was a clever man in that when he records what he said, he is very accurate as to the terms and phrases he used and knowing how he did not understand fully the protocol or behaviour required of him he never the less wrote what he had spoken at the time of his slow conversion!



1.Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 2I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3How great his signs! and how mighty his wonders! his kingdom an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion from generation to generation.

In the last verses the King mentions the words, "signs,
mighty, great, High God, everlasting kingdom and peace."
I think the first sign of great wisdom is when a man fears (respects) God.
This once violent man speaks of "peace multiplying unto all nations."
We can see a character change that has taken place and that in itself, is a miracle.
However, Satanic agencies were afoot working and whispering in the kings ear, in the form of the Chaldeans. His pride which manifested in anger tantrums when he was challenged, The Chaldeans knew and manipulated the king to their advantage. The king was influenced because of his infancy, in understanding of what the true God required of him at that particular time.
Lucifer will try to imitate our Lord at "the time of the end" and we will be faced with false teachers with all the trouble they cause!
When the Bible is taken to the whole world and is taught by "a people strong in the word" and understood by the those hungry for truth. If folk are shown what the Bible says before the false teachings of men get a chance to influence their minds first, it will make truth a lot easier for them to understand!

As we read we can see, the King is confirming miraculous signs manifest by God, through His servant Daniel.

4I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace: 5I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

The wise men must be have thought. OH NO! Not another dream!
So off they trundle to the palace as ordered.

7Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. 8But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying, 9O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

The king was struggling to find the truth and used terms like, "holy gods."
The struggle between truth and error will be no different during "the time of the end," for those in the infancy of faith and understanding as the king of Babylon was, will be vulnerable to church orgaisations wanting to fill their churches with growing numbers. That is why we have no time to waste, arguing with those that believe in a church teaching and are too lazy to search for themselves.

Isaiah 30: 10. People, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: 10Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
It takes a lot of heart searching. Hard and long research, seeking and looking to and fro in the Holy Scriptures and pleading urgent requests in prayer for the understanding of Daniel, The Disciples left the padded pews and sat on rocks to hear the truth from John the Baptist.

2nd Timothy 2:15.Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Moses struggled with the same problem of fake miracles by magicians influencing a Pharaoh. Moses not only had to show to the Egyptians and his own people that their God was all powerful and that he, Moses was appointed to lead them!
At "the time of the end" we will need the same outpouring of the Holy Spirit that happened in the upper room in Jerusalem only on a bigger scale to counter falsehood. The "falling away must occur first."
A falling away or apostasy. (see Acts 21: 21.)

JOEL 2: 28. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.




Joel 2: 32. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Not only will "The Lord roar from Mount Zion" but we are to be delivered after a "remnant," from all the tribes of Israel.


So I find it impossible to believe, that when some Gentile churches claim to be "the remnant, the 144 thousand" I have to smile and say "that is not what the Bible says" please read Rev 7: 4.

Rev 7: 4. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

The rest of us, Gentiles and Jews, make up the group in the following verse.

Back to Daniel 4.
Dan 4: 10. Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. 11The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: 12The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

The tree is in the midst of the earth and is central to everything that lives around it for their everyday existence and of course the tree is the king!


13I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; 14He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: 15Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: 16Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

Notice the description of the tree? It changes from "IT", "all flesh was fed of IT" "to "HIS", leaves "HIS" branches, the stump of "HIS’ roots."
Poor Nebuchadnezzar has not caught on yet!
The point is whether he, the king of Babylon is around or not , everything will go on just as usual, which he does not seem to understand.
Remember this king was proud!
He has to be brought down a branch or two for his own very salvation!
God does this out of love for the very long term good of the King and sometimes extreme measures need to be taken to counter the extreme problem!
The thing that had to be done was not only for the king’s sake but for all the souls to ponder as to whom the God of heaven IS and what HE stands for!
The True God that wants to save us all through, a necessary demonstration. He will achieve it in full, with heavenly signs and wonders at "the time of the end."
Dan 4: 17. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

The king called on Daniel, last!
The king had done this before.
Only when he sought the Soothsayers answers and again, got nothing from them.

18This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen.
Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
19Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee.

&nbsp;Now the king could see that the dream puzzled Daniel, or so he thought and reassures Daniel that he should not worry about it.
Daniel knew the dream all right but was trying to figure out how to tell the king!
Second part of verse 19. "Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies."

Here it comes the bitter dream, there is no way known to man that bad news can be anything else but bad or disguised as anything else!
I believe Daniel would have been praying on his feet how else could he have gotten the interpretation?
But the delay was made by Daniel who said, "My lord, the dream be to them that HATE THEE, and the interpretation thereof to THINE ENEMIES."20The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth; 21Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation: 22It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.
Just as a matter of interest we know that Jesus has many names and "Watcher" is but another.

23And whereas the king saw a "WATCHER" and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

Cut him down to size, make him eat grass like animals and he will feel the dew just like cattle for seven long years.
I call this the seven years of madness. That is a period which will repeat itself in the time of sorrows and the 3 ½ years at the "time of the end." That Jerusalem is trampled upon by the Gentiles. Have you noticed that some claim that the Temple’s destruction is not for the Time of the end and that it was fulfilled in 70AD? Even though we are told that Daniel’s visions concern "the time of the end."
How is it then that John wrote in Revelation, 11: 1. hundreds of years later, that he should measure the Temple but not the outer area because it is taken by the Gentiles to be trampled on for 3 ½ years.

&nbsp;Revelation 11: 1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the TEMPLE leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
I said earlier that I would prove the Temple would be rebuilt and this is it. How can the Temple be measured in a prophecy concerning the time of the end, unless it is rebuilt.
Here’s prophecy the Mosque is coming down! When? Shortly.
The wailing wall is bulging out 2 ½ feet by 100 feet long or 750 X 30 m. Keep your eyes on Jerusalem!

That is how the "abomination that causes desolation moves in on Israel and will take over the Sanctuary. The Gentiles are going to back the wrong guy so are a lot of Jews.
This is why God says in Rev 2: 9.
Rev 2: 9. I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but the synagogue of Satan.
Which of the churches believe, that they are the new chosen people?
It would seem logical for them to sit "where they ought not."
How many churches will argue for this self appointed right?

What do Moslems, Jews Christians have in common?
They are all waiting for a Messiah come!
Even Mohammed had a dream that the A Messiah would descend upon the dome. As we go through Daniel it will get really interesting.


Back to Dan 4: 24. This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: 25That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

When "SEVEN TIMES" term is used, it means seven years as we know by the prophecy’s fulfillment and first usage or the term "law of primacy," means after which the term relates to the same meaning or years from now on!
How humiliating, especially for a proud king
Dan 4:26And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.

Again as I have already stated the King had to be made to realise that it is God not the king of Babylon holds things together and "that everyone should clearly understand this."

Dan 4: 27. Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
28All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. 29At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

I don’t think the King quite got the message or he had grown aloof to it through time which apparently dulled his senses.
He should show mercy to the poor, people that are in debt, to him or the state, so that the king’s time of peace may be lengthened.
The King should have known his iniquities but he did not at that time and he was honest enough to record his problem that takes courage and honesty.
Who was at fault? The king should have knuckled down to some serious prayer and parchment research and by inquiring of Daniel!
Dan 4: 30. The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I HAVE BUILT for the house of the kingdom by the might of MY POWER, and for the HONOUR OF MY MAJESTY?

Such arrogance and pride!

Dan 4: 31. While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. 32And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 33The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
34And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

Now the penny has dropped! Take away pride from a man or church and understanding of truth comes right home, on target!!!

&nbsp;35And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?


The king now understands exactly where he fits into things, as a servant of God!
36At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

He admits quite readily that it is GOD that placed and maintains the king and his realm.

37Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Good on the king. Truth at last! What does it take to reach this point of understanding? A lot of , for some and a little of, for others, humility! Amen! Chapter 5
1Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. 2Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. 3Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.

The Golden and silver Vessels were taken from the Jerusalem Temple and used by King Belshazzar, and were in a ritual to the nonexistent gods of silver and gold.

4They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
This was a most dangerous act. The vessels belonged to the Temple of Jerusalem and therefore belonged to God and were not to be used in such a ritual, paying homage to strange gods.
I am surprised with the King, he knew of his fathers account of the true God of heaven and the seven years of madness! written therefore and recorded by his father’s hand in Daniel four.


He knew it there was no excuse!

King Nebuchadnezzar wrote Daniel 4.
" I Nebuchadnezzar."
Daniel 4: 4. I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace: 5I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

Dan 5 :5. In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

As we study further down the track we will see how God deals with folk that speak great words against the Most High. Especially when He takes on the fight to protect His people.
Which deals with the rescue of His people on the 12 hour 10 day of the s 7 month Passover from Egypt after Pharaoh spoke words against God, also on the 12 hour 10 day of the s 7 month Passover 50th Jubilee year again saved His people, from a hopeless situation, when men from the Assyrian camp of King Sennacherib started insulting God.
Also He will do the same when the false prophet "at the time of the end," does the same thing.

Dan 7: 25. AND HE SHALL SPEAK great words AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, and shall WEAR OUT THE SAINTS of the most High, and think to change TIMES and LAWS: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Saints equals more than one, try two Witnesses.
These times or the fullness of time are there for a reason, but notice the hopeless situation His people will be in again, "at the time of the end," There are set times that’s why the accuser will try to change them. The time domain is in the Father’s hand, but that is another study for later.
I get side tracked, sorry.

&nbsp;Dan 5: 5. Then the king’s countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.

The King Knew something was amiss. He was scared stiff to the point of losing strength in his knees. He however could not read the writing on the wall, but the vision of the hand made him really scared to a panic stage.
He screams go get the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers!!!!!!!
7The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.

Well, what goes around comes around, just as they say, about history repeating itself. So the same promises were made again by this king Belshazzar as made by His father King Nebuchadnezzar.

8Then came in all the king’s wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof. 9Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his lords were astonished.

They say behind every great man there’s a woman, he was a king of course, so he was great. Any rate, she could hear all the commotion going on and was drawn to it.

10Now the queen, by reason of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banquet house: and the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed:

She takes one look at her husbands demeanor and starts trying to put him at ease.

11There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
Her advice was sound but the poor king, well he has yet to hear the interpretation from Daniel, oh dear.

12Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

The queen has given Daniel such a boost in stature to her husband, Which she may of thought would ease his mind when meeting Daniel, I’m sorry for laughing but we know what’s coming he didn’t at that time. Now the king was resolute on hearing the interpretation.

13Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?

Evidently the king had heard of Daniel, but he didn’t associate Daniel with the true God of heaven, so I guess he was trying to put things together in front of Daniel by asking questions.

14I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

This is a worry for me, the most important man didn’t know Daniel? This is what happens when false prophets are around. The king was obviously fed a lot of nonsense from false "wise men." The same situation will apply at "the time of the end ".
But as I have said before he knew about his fathers experiences and I think he was a bit nervous especially after seeing a vision like that
15And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing:

It’s seems to be the same for Daniel, he’s always last in the queue. The false prophets seem to get in first, office politics, I suppose.

16And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.

I think Daniel had an inkling as to what was to come, whatever he knew he didn’t want anything and with the news about to follow I think him wise.

&nbsp;17Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. 18O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: 19And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.
As Daniel spoke there was not a word spoken. I know this because it would have been recorded in the Book.
This has everything to do with pride. Have you ever asked yourself. Why will Jesus still bear the scars in the new earth when we are all given new bodies? Don’t tell me that it is to remind us of His sacrifice. Why is it, that only the lamb that appears in court, to claim the deeds as a man? As the son of Adam? Why the genealogy of Jesus? Why doesn’t Michael appear in court to be found worthy? Why does the Bible say in 1st Corinthians15: 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
That is an interesting study in itself, maybe for later.

Dan 5: 20. But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
21And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
Now the example was stated about the kings father and the king knew al of it.

22And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;


23But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

The king is cunning and scared, maybe he can give gifts to Daniel to change things because he knows, he is right up the creek without a paddle and Daniel knows it as well.



24Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. 25And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
Daniel states quite clearly, the king has been found wanting his time and his kingdom’s era is over and is given to the Medes and Persians. Past tense.
26This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. 28PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Now the king decked out Daniel with fine clothes? Was it because he thought that maybe Daniel could change something? I don’t know. I can’t judge motives, may be he thought God would relent now that Daniel was 3rd ruler?
It was not repentance it was a bribe in pride to keep his kingdom.
It was rotten news for the King and it was too late!

29Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
That same night the horror of the dream became reality for King Belshazzar.
30In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. 31And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

Prophecy Countdown.

&nbsp;Chapter 6
1It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 2And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Darius knew how to delegate. He appointed 120 Princes and above the Princes he placed three Presidents and he chose Daniel as the first in charge of the three.

3Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

King Darius thought very highly of Daniel, but trouble follows Daniel through evil men and office politics rears its ugly head. They wanted the number one job just like Satan which means accuser.

Isaiah 14: 13. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Daniel 6: 4’ Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

This is prophetic, a shadow of the trial of Jesus which I will explain later on in Daniel.
EARTHLY TRIAL….John 19: 4. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
HEAVENLY TRIAL….Revelation 5: 12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
For Jesus the Lamb is found worthy, Jesus must be judged in court to gain, as the second Adam, a man ( the son of Adam , the son of David, that’s why we are told of His lineage.) That which was lost Adam’s inheritance, the deeds. Folk think God can do what He likes. Well,,,,, no He can’t!
No,,,, you say, OH yes I say! Again I wander but that’s another very interesting study for later and a little different from what is understood by many.

Daniel 6: 5. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

They knew that Daniel was a man that loved God and knew Daniel prayed to God as was his want. So they set him up manipulating this proud king. A dangerous game for the king was no idiot.


6Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. 7All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

King Darius, live for ever. Flattery. They can only ask you king. Pride. This tactic is Satan’s tool which he will use again at "the time of the end."
Daniel 11: 32. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits

Created beings can’t handle praise, only the Creator.

&nbsp;8Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 9Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

Daniel was strong in faith and he knew the law of the Medes and Persians but he still went ahead with his prayer and gave thanks to God.

10Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
11Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

A proud king is now put on the spot, by being reminded by these evil jealous for position men, of his decree. These men making sure of course that the name Daniel is not yet mentioned because the king was very fond of Daniel and thought very highly of him.

12Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Now this is the nub of the question and it puts the king right on the spot because they know that he can’t back down. He had been manipulated and knew it and was angry with himself,,,, at first that is.

13Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day. 14Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

The king had been caught by these men and trying to save face and Daniel at the same time worked at every trick in the book to try and reverse the irreversible, but to no avail.

15Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

The king was beside himself with worry and asks Daniel will your God get you out of This?

16Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.


Now Daniel was well and truly in the pickle jar, or so the king thought.
17And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

The king was so worried about Daniel he spent that whole night without eating or entertainment or even sleep.

18Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

The King got up rushed to the lions den and with an anguished and a heartbroken voice shouts out to Daniel servant of the living God, whom you serve continually, was He able to save you from the lions?

19Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. 20And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

Daniel with great respect and no malice toward the king Gives a greeting that the king live forever and explains how the Lord found him blameless and how His angel closed the mouths of the lions. I haven’t done anything that would hurt you O king.

21Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. 22My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Now the king, that thought the world of Daniel was overjoyed.

23Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

&nbsp;As I have said before the king is no dummy and he knows he’s been duped and despair then joy at seeing Daniel safe turned to extreme anger.

24And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

If ever there were a more convincing, convicting, converting message to the King, I don’t know it.



25Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 26I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
27He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. 28So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. Daniel Now refers back to when he had this vision, "in the first year of Belshazzar." Daniel keeps the matter to himself after the last verse and was troubled by it. Daniel deals with the visions concerning his time, as we have seen and shall see. There are two angels involved in these Visions One is called Palmini. Which means Wonderful Numberer or Angel of secret numbers, then Gabriel and of course our Lord. This information can be gleaned through a Bible with a marginal help.

Dear 66Books, as promised I have completed Daniel 7: As you know over the years, I have staid fluid certainly not set in my interpretation because it is a growing process.
As understanding increases we expand our minds to the larger, clearer picture.
This is how it should be for growth. Under the governance of men the churches stagnate.
Under the governance of God they grow. As our dear Minister friend J.R. H. said, "They left the padded pews to go out and sit on rocks to hear the truth, listening to John the Baptist."
<B>Chapter 7</B>
1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
Now I’m going back to remind you of the fact that in Daniel chapter 1: 44.
Daniel 1:44"And in the DAYS OF THESE KINGS THE GOD OF HEAVEN WILL SET UP HIS KINGDOM which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
The angel takes Daniel to the "time of the end," which is at the feet of the statue. The Angel doesn’t waste much time getting there.

Now remembering that we are taken to the feet of what I call "the time statue," and this is at the time that God will set up his kingdom, it is only right that the descriptions of the beasts should fit the powers to be at "the time of the end," then proceed to "the end of time which are two different periods, as we shall see.

Daniel 7: 3. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 4The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

&nbsp;The powers at "the time of the end," are described with symbols that would make sense to us living at this time. Previous generations would not understand these symbols.

This is how the Book is sealed till the time of the end, for none will understand. In Daniel the little Book is sealed until the time of the end.
Daniel 12:3. But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end. Many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase."

In plain English seal up the Book till the time of the end, Lots of people will go backwards and forwards over the words trying to understand it and they will increase their knowledge of it doing so.
Now I know that I’m pulling bits here and there together but when I study I look for parallels and patterns, in context.
In Revelation 5: 3. I see the same Angel about to open the Book.
Rev 5: 3. And NO MAN in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to OPEN THE BOOK, neither to LOOK THEREIN. 4And I wept much, because NO MAN was found WORTHY TO OPEN OR READ THE BOOK, neither to LOOK THEREIN. 5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDA, the ROOT OF DAVIDR, hath PREVAILED TO OPEN THE BOOK, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

The fact that Jesus has to become a MAN, a son of David, a son of Adam as a family member to earn back the deeds, the inheritance as a man that was lost to Satan, hence His lineage is shown in Luke 3: 23. Which is a display of how God does things legally and correctly. No man can claim the inheritance as Jesus because the lineage history was lost in the destruction of the Temple in 70AD.

I will give a study on this a little later.

Please let me return to Daniel.

Daniel 7: 4. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 4The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

When America was attacked on the 11th September 2001, the British prime minister Tony Blaire the very next day, stood by the American President and said. If I may paraphrase.
"We are with you 100%."
Could this be "the time of sorrows," mentioned by Jesus in Math24, Mark13 and Luke 21? Yes, absolutely.

The seven years of hardship which is linked to Joseph’s drought period in Egypt and the seven year of madness by King Nebuchadnezzar are shadows of times to come, I will explain later. There is so much to tell you but I have to keep to Daniel 7.

The Symbol of the U S A is the Eagle, the Symbol of Great Britain is the Lion. The Lion that had eagles wings.
The wings are plucked and the lion is given the heart of a man and is made to stand like a man. He the lion gets his wings clipped and has to stand like a man. What on earth happens to the greatest single power ever known to man the U S A ? You will have to wait for the angels explanation, in just a little while.

Now what ever happens to a power vacuum? Nature doesn’t like a vacuum so here comes the bear.
What country has the bear as its symbol? Russia.

Daniel 7: 5. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

The bear is told in plain English. Get stuck right into them and wipe out lots of them.

I’m not sure about this one. Could it be Asia?
They have the "tiger economy,"
It has "four wings of a fowl," That’s not as fast as eaagle’s wings but there are four.
It has four heads, could this be four adjoining nations? They are given authority!
6After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.



7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

&nbsp;This fourth beast is plain awful it is a culmination, a coming together of all the strength attributes of the lion with eagles wings the bear and leopard. I like to call this beast the T- Rex. This last beast stamps on the residue.
It has ten horns, meaning ten leaders as we shall see.

8I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.Now ten horns three plucked up to be replaced by one leaves eight. This one horns starts saying things, as a result the Ancient of Days, the Father reacts. A court scene ensues imediately.

9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. 10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the BOOKS WERE OPENED.

Everything is done legally.


Rev 5: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a BOOK written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a STONG ANGEL proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is WORTHY to open the BOOK, and to loose the seals thereof?

As a by the way, if you check which "strong angel" had his mighty hand checked by the Lord in the garden of Gethsemane against the Roman soldiers coming to arrest Jesus , you will see it’s the mighty or strong angel Gabriel, who was instrumental regards Daniel’s visions.

Daniel 7: 11.I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the BEAST was SLAIN, and his BODY destroyed, and GIVEN TO THE BURNING FLAME.
Now Parallels and patterns. Just like King Nebuchadnezzar, the horn starts going off at the mouth! Which means trouble and dangerous!
Now let’s pull this together. Parallels and patterns remember?

Revelation 19: 19.And I saw the BEAST, and the KINGS of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20And the BEAST WAS TAKEN, and with him the FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast ALIVE into a lake of FIRE burning with brimstone.

Daniel 7 :12.As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

The lion, bear, leopard which are many nations are allowed to live a "season equals three months, a time, equals one year, equals one year three months.
Now we’re reading Daniel but now Revelation explains in the following verse. The same characters, same story same time, "time of the end."
Revelation 19: 21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of HIM that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

&nbsp;Armageddon takes 15 months.

Rev 17: 9. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Let’s sort this riddle out as best we can.

The beast which is given a mortal wound which he receives in from Jesus.
"He will bruise my heel and I will bruise his head."
Geneses 3: 15. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
By the way this is why the Dragon or Lucifer goes after her offspring in Rev 12: 17. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the REMNANT OF HER SEED, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
What is the testimony of Jesus?
2nd Timothy 2: 15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rev 17: 12. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14These shall make war with the LAMB, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL.


Now Daniel flicks back to the Court scene.

Dan 7: 13. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought HIM near before HIM. 14And there was given HIM DOMINION, and GLORY, and a KINGDOM, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.




Revelation 12: 12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and STRENGTH, and HONOUR, and GLORY, and blessing.

God can’t do as he likes. Can we as we like when we marry? Then when we have children? How much more freedom do we give up for our children.

The moment Jesus created free thinking creatures, He was no longer free.
He has rules and there are no short cuts, everything is done by the Book

"His judgment," The word in Greek is krisis or His Crises the translators chose Judgment when we judge we measure, the Lamb was found worthy. Revelation 14: 8. Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. There could be no nepotism.
Let me say this in my own words if I were in court. Your not a man you are God. No, I’m the son of Adam and the son of David, the son of man.
Why are you here? To claim back the inheritance that Adam lost. What price did you pay? I paid the price with my life. I claim squatters rights. But you are God. No I am the Lamb of God. We find you worthy to take back the deeds to the kingdom. Worthy, worthy are you the Lamb we pay Honour and glory to you. This is the humility of Jesus, why is it that when we are given new bodies at the resurrection, Jesus still has scars, and don’t tell me it is to remind us of what He has done for us. It is humility to a point that we con not fathom.

The moment Jesus created he had to part Himself from Himself Godness becoming Godness twice so that when He created He could be a Savior the Lamb in the flesh and wile he become man Godess become a Father to Him. The Father and the Son Two as one .
Why did He not make Eve from the Ground? Think about the story is about God, He cloned Eve from Adam. Adam was from the Ground.

By the way this is why the Dragon or Lucifer goes after her offspring in Rev 12: 17. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the REMNANT OF HER SEED, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
What is the testimony of Jesus?
2nd Timothy 2: 15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rev 17: 12. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14These shall make war with the LAMB, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL.


Now Daniel flicks back to the Court scene.

Dan 7: 13. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought HIM near before HIM. 14And there was given HIM DOMINION, and GLORY, and a KINGDOM, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.




Revelation 12: 12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and STRENGTH, and HONOUR, and GLORY, and blessing.

God can’t do as he likes. Can we as we like when we marry? Then when we have children? How much more freedom do we give up for our children.

The moment Jesus created free thinking creatures, He was no longer free.
He has rules and there are no short cuts, everything is done by the Book

"His judgment," The word in Greek is krisis or His Crises the translators chose Judgment when we judge we measure, the Lamb was found worthy. Revelation 14: 8. Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. There could be no nepotism.
Let me say this in my own words if I were in court. Your not a man you are God. No, I’m the son of Adam and the son of David, the son of man.
Why are you here? To claim back the inheritance that Adam lost. What price did you pay? I paid the price with my life. I claim squatters rights. But you are God. No I am the Lamb of God. We find you worthy to take back the deeds to the kingdom. Worthy, worthy are you the Lamb we pay Honour and glory to you. This is the humility of Jesus, why is it that when we are given new bodies at the resurrection, Jesus still has scars, and don’t tell me it is to remind us of what He has done for us. It is humility to a point that we con not fathom.

The moment Jesus created he had to part Himself from Himself Godness becoming Godness twice so that when He created He could be a Savior the Lamb in the flesh and wile he become man Godess become a Father to Him. The Father and the Son Two as one .
Why did He not make Eve from the Ground? Think about the story is about God, He cloned Eve from Adam. Adam was from the Ground.

1 Corinthians 15: 45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
John 14: 9. Jesus replied:
Philip, I have been with you for a long time. Don’t you know who I AM? If you have SEEN ME, you have SEEN THE FATHER. How can you ask me to SHOW YOU THE FATHER? 10 Don’t you believe THAT I AM ONE with the Father and that the Father is one with me? What I say isn’t said on my own. The Father who lives in me does these things.

John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Now back to Daniel 7: 15.

Dan 7: 15. I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. 16I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

These beasts are kings or leaders.

17These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
The kings or leaders are going to lose their inheritance to the Saints.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>18But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Twice the Angel Gabriel assures Daniel that the Saints will posses the kingdom forever. That means twice said it is assured and is true.
Verse 19 shows how the 4th beast is diverse or different it is made up all the previous beasts.

19Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

Stamped the residue with his feet; What happens to the two Witnesses? The beast kills them. The study of the Two witnesses is very interesting. But that is for later.

Daniel 7: 20.And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

21I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
If we have one that’s singular, so two being plural These two Saints will be trampled on.There has to be two Witnesses under Mosaic law and under most modern societies. Two witnesses are needed to bring on a guilty verdict and for the first time there are two Witnesse prophecying in Jerusalem. This has never ever happened before. in that city.
Luke 13: 34. Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not.


Daniel 7: 22. Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.


23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall DEVOUR THE WHOLE EARTH, and shall tread it down, and BREAK IT IN PIECES.
Rev 11: 18. And the NATIONS WERE ANGRY, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the PROPHETS, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH.


24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
In context this is at the time of the end. If we are going to have false Messiah, false prophets, a false timetable, how about a false Armageddon. The two Witnesses are prophesying for 42 months as Jerusalem is being trampled on by the Gentiles
