Thank You Dear Sweat Friends in Christ,

I am sorry for my long absence for which I was not able to explain. I have been occupied in Intercessory Prayer for a very serious situation in my own family. It has not been without some a mental and physical ordeal which leaves me triumphant yet physicaly and emotionaly exhausted. Tonight brought forth a major breakthrough. Praise God with me for it is His Glory not mine. I am looking forward to a few days of rest . This is may be just the begining of a larger outreach to several more people...your prayers to hold us up would be appreciated.

Thank God the Father for the great gift I received tonight and let it be to His Honor and Glory that we lift up our hearts.

A Prayer Today

Father God I pray today for those friends here who have uplifted your servant Springrain with prayer.

Through your dearly beloved Son Jesus, let Your light surround them, Your love enfold them, Your power protect them and Your presence watch over them.

Though we live far apart, I ask you to be wherever they are.

Empower us with the gift of prayer to bring needy souls to accept Your Mercy.

Amen.

SIS, Dave, Amadeus...You were evidenttally chosen to be my prayer supporters....I praise you for responding to HIS call.

I can hardly tell you how grateful I am as I was in battle, and it was a tough one, I believe that those who were praying for me are the ones that really did hold me up and got me through.

We often do not realize how very important our prayers really are.

Today, we are triumphant that the bondage of One soul in my family has been brocken and brought back in reconciliation with God. It is a time for PRAISE and THANKSGIVING.

I'm just glad you're here - I noticed I hadn't seen you in any of the forums where we fellowship together and I missed you. Was very concerned that something here offended you and caused you to leave. So glad that apparently isn't the situation.

Dear Eddie,

My life is dedicated to intercessory prayer...praying in the name of Jesus Christ for all souls who are in need of God's Mercy. This is my Joy and purpose each and every day I am here on this earth. This can also be dangerous. The devil hopes to weaken our resolve, he plays on our mind, our will, and our pride. He hopes to diminish our hope and our convictions. Part of our job is to know how he deceives us, recognize his attempts to defraud us and keep our focus constantly on our spiritual. Our ability to remain strong depends on really strong Faith, and staying in a reconciled relationship with God so that the Holy Spirit is able to work from within. If we are not motivated by love then we slip dangerously into a motivation of self. The battle is real, difficult and dangerous.

God is so patient with us and His Mercy endures.

My heart breaks for those who are hurting. My heart breaks for those who have not the ability to see their self desires, pride and lack of compassion. My heart breaks for those who reject the Mercy God offers and my heart breaks for Our Savior crucified for them all and still rejected by so many. These things go on around us everywhere. Yes, it can be hard to bare especially when it happens amoung our own friends and family. This consumes my prayer. Quietly yet powerfully, I bring it to the foot of the cross and place those in need to be covered in His Blood.

I want to continue my presence here to encourage everyone to pray for each other and also for all souls that Jesus so very much loves and wants to shower His Mercy on.

I was an intercessor prayer warrior for 20 years but stuff happened and now I am nothing, my prayer life is zero. I know I was deceived but there is also no help from the church. The church failed me I guess my biggest mistake was to walk away from all.

Dear Altya,

Certainly a large segment of the nation's Christians have been making it clear they believe that the church is under attack…it is. This is nothing new and the attack will continue until Jesus returns to us. Many of us have been disillusioned by the organizations that lead us. Yet, there are many like myself that have been drawn closer into an intimate relation with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.
Even though our churches are being attached from the inside, Gods army is growing.
I don't have a fear for Christianity. We are the temples. The Holy Spirit is working through us, as a positive influence in our society, one on one with our brothers and sisters, friends, families and even strangers who we can touch without even knowing.

Some say the end times are drawing near and this may be true. But have no doubt…God is raising up a mighty army of prayer warriors by which he is spreading His Word and the offer of His Divine Mercy for all those who will turn to Him. Good will triumph over evil. We should have no doubt of this. But we should be keenly aware of the role we play…a serious obligation and a true gift to be called to be one of God’s Army.

Altya, since you felt led to post here, I dont doubt that you may be hearing the call to return to being a prayer warrior. You are not a nothing....your prayers could save many souls. If santan accuses you that you are a nothing...laugh at him and say, "you are right I am nothing other than a child of God, loved and receiving His Divine Mercy and by this power you Santan are being defeated."

I am praying for you right now Altya that this will take hold in your heart to comfort and strengten you.

One thing my church emphasizes is the fact that we are a house of prayer. We keep lists of prayer requests and answered prayer in our lobby. We have a weekly prayer meeting - my pastor says he wishes he had kept a journal from the very beginning because we've had hundreds of answered prayers over the years. The first Sunday of every month the men meet after worship for just 10 minutes and pray for the women of the church (I really appreciate that one). It's very common to see 2-5 people praying together after worship - just a spontaneous get-together to support a brother or sister in Christ.

Sadly, I don't think enough churches emphasize intercessory prayer - maybe I'm wrong, but I do think it has the appearance of being lacking in many churches.

Eddie, I agree, while these ministries are wonderful, they are few compared to the number of christians who proclaim christianity.

You realize that lost people have no true hope or peace and you are fully aware of their bondage to sin. This can affect us as well when we have fellowship with them and it can wreck the relationship and cause it to dissolve into disharmony and estrangement.

This burden increases when the lost person is someone you know intimately and love. It may be a husband, wife, son, daughter, or other family member. It grieves your heart to know that your loved one is separated from God, under His wrath, and headed for an eternity in hell. You long for your loved one to experience true hope and peace through the Lord Jesus Christ. You yearn for your loved one to be set free from bondage to sin.

Too often, these persons are abandoned into an abyss they are locked in without anyone single person praying for them.

If this understanding burdens you for those who are lost, it is a call for you to pray.
