Exactly why I don't trust paraphrases. They tend to read a lot into the text and confirm the preconceptions of the one making the paraprhase.

This seems like a fun game - annoying fundies until you get banned 8)

To be honest, a lot of fundies here are like mindless drones, unable to think for themselves, and instead must recite Bible verses to support their "argument". They're like members of the Borg collective "you must comply".

Take this floatingaxe character, it seems when she can't pull a Bible verse from her back side she has no real response, except for "uh nah" etc.

It would also appear that they don't like to hear anything different from what they have been taught at Sunday school/church. IF you dare suggest an alternative interpretation then you are branded a heretic.

This is all getting rather personal and unpleasant.
It should, surely, be possible to have a discussion without resorting to name-calling on either side.

Haha...no it was American Football or rather NFL or CFL...I cant stand Football!! Mods should ban any discussion of the sport or rather anyone who discusses the sport (which I really wouldnt call a sport)
