well our church does a event at christmas time called the christmas drive thru we set up scene all around the church (about 5, about 8 min per scene) then people come in there cars and drive thru each scene we get abour 8000 cars thru at least. one of the scenes is the childrens scene, this year i have been asked to run the scene and make up the kids dance etc. and i am freaking, about 8000 ppl seeing what i have done with the kids? all the mothers watching me to see what i will do their darling kids? ahhhhhhhhhhhh i am scared, i have 3 and 1/2 mins to do some thing with them. but that get repeted with every lot of cars that come thru. so they do it the same thing about 25 times each nite 4 6 days.
Just a word of advice: don't freak too much. The more you fret over something, the more uptight and nervous you'll get, and that can't do much good. That's something I try to tell myself when ever I'm about to get up in front of hundreds of people to preach. The bigger a deal I make out of it, the more nervous I'll get, and that won't help at all.
dotk, hon you will do just fine. don't freak out too much. you obviously have some serious talent for your church to ask you to be in charge of choreographing this dance. relax and know that God is holding your hand through every step of the way. He will never let you down! i know that you will do a fantastic job in leading these precious children. they will be absolutely wonderful!! i will be praying for you!
