Little faith

Please pray for me. I have almost lost my ability to trust and rely on God. After a few bad events, my faith has been challenged and I just can't deal with it anymore. I've become depressed and miserable, pessimistic, and defiant.

Please pray that God will help me with my problems, and that I will be able to trust him again.

Hypostatic & Sekir you both need a Prayer for God’s Accompaniment. Pray this every morning before you start your day!

Grant me your grace O Lord Jesus, the long-suffering, and be with me that I may dwell in You unto the end. Grant me that I may ask and wish always for what is pleasing to You. Let Your will be my will. Let my will follow always Your will and be in accord with it in a perfect way. Let both of us have one will, for I don’t want to desire anything except what You want and what You wish. Grant me not to lust for the things of this world, that I may dwell in You in all things and hold above all things the desire to be as You would have me be and to do as You would have me do. You are the peace of my heart and the shelter of my life. You are the real peace and the only comfort and apart from You, everything is hard and confusing. Therefore, in this peace which is in You, the Great Eternal Good, I am able to rest. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever.
Our Father who art in Heaven hollowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one in Christ Jesus, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever

Father in heaven,
Bless your son Hypostatic and sons and daughters everywhere who are discouraged, beaten down by the world, and despairing of meaning and purpose. Father, please renew their faith, place hope in their hearts, and come quickly to heal, edify and strengthen them. Put other Christians on their path who can help and put determination in their spirit that they may seek you. Thank you that they share with us so we may pray. As Thomas Merton said, We believe the desire to please you does in fact please you. May it be so. Thank you. Amen.

Praise GOD that you are seeking HIM. Don't let satan steel your joy. I know sometimes things happen to cause you to doubt, but GOD loves you & wants to have a relationship with you. I'll be praying for you.

Praying for you! Hang in there! Our faith can take a beating a times. Re-read Ephesians 6 about the armor of God. Are you putting on the full armor of God? Sometimes when I get weak, I think about that. Then, I realize that I've dropped my sword or something else.
