Such a nice thing to hear today.

Many Years!

Many, many years to both of you!
It was definitely one of the best moments in our marriage when my hubs entered the church. I loved him so much at our wedding day (there was never any discussion that we weren't gonna have an Orthodox wedding - that was always clear) but I think I loved him even more on that day.
His cathecumenate was never even official and from when we called Father he was Chrismated 3 weeks later before going out on his first deployment (that was the other driving force).

So again, congratulations, and so many, many, many happy years for both of you!

I am with Mary on this...hope for our husbands, indeed.

On that note, we got a Getty catalogue in the mail the other week and my husband excitedly showed me the two books on icons listed in the catalogue. No, he won't go to the Orthodox Church but he has certainly become accustomed to my going. A far cry from where we were a couple of years ago. Maybe, just maybe, by the time he is 62 he'll join us, too!
