Riley auditioned for the Tulsa Ballet's Nutcracker, a couple of days after Aliyah was born. She was one of over 600 who tried out. And she got a part! Some of you may remember that she was in this production last year, but that was through her dance school (she got a part outa the about 2 or 3 girls that could have played the part...this is actually WITH the Tulsa Ballet, and apparently over 600 could have played the part! How awesome!! Needless to say we are really proud of our little ballerina!

Congrats! Just remember, whenever she performs a difficult move successfully, it is NOT acceptable to stand in the opera house and yell "THAT'S MY GIRL!! WOO HOO! GO SWEETIE!"

:D That is EXACTLY what you want to do when you see them up there! Last year my heart swelled so big I thought it was going to burst! :pink: I will try to refrain from anything unapropirate this year! LOL

She is 6 and in her 3rd year of ballet.

She seems to be pretty good (I know NOTHING about ballet) last year she had to get special premission to preform with them because she wasn't old enough or tall enough...the yeven had to make a special costume for her. :) Don't really know where ballet can lead you, but it has been great for her thus far! :)
