Why do I get the feeling there is more to this than what WND is reporting? Maybe it's all the Nazi references or the fact that I can't find any other report on this from any other news source...but I'm having a hard time taking this seriously.

I am wondering how much of his own personal faith played into this. The vast majority of Uthans are Mormons, which from my own experience have a controlled society outlook, where the entire community is controlled by Mormons and based off of Mormon Principals.

I can't find anything on the 'net that doesn't reference the WND article but it has me very suspicious. Just the fact that this is the paperwork from a year ago for the last school year (96-97) makes this appear suspicious. I'm guessing this is a case where she was informed they did not have her paperwork and was previously told it had to be filed. Further, since this paperwork was for last year yet they are complaining of the kids not being in school, I'm guessing they also have no paperwork for her for this year -- which is why the kids have to be in school immediately rather than giving her a chance to file last years paperwork.
