Back to the OP, that was cute. Too bad we don't all observe "Tossmass". If more people did, maybe the PC businesses would stop taking the "reason for the season" out of the equation. I never knew anyone who was "offended" by "Merry Christmas" either (oh, I take that back, there was once this chaplain, but he took down the nativity scene to put up three large mannorahs--so we just figured that he had an "axe to grind" and didn't really count as someone truly offended.)

Did I spell "mannorahs" correctly?

hola

i think political correctness is different from politeness in that polite people act out of consideration to others especially when it is actually difficult. politically correct people act out of vanity and only over pointless unimportant things. normal jewish people aren't offended when their employer says 'merry Christmas' to the people of the office. they are offended when their employer passes them up for promotion for the sixth time despite their qualifications and hard work, with no reason indicated.

que Dios te bendiga

Here's the thing:

This moron is sooooo hung up on his own smug cuteness he is mssing the point entirely.

Christmas is under threat.

From excessive consumerism, merchandising, corporate spawned expectations of minimum gift giving, the equating of "things" for love and the excess of easy credit and debt.

And this clown is going to fix all this how ?

By attempting to shame the very corporations, marketers and gift sellers who caused this taint on the celebration of the brith of Christ into actaully associating the birth of Christ with this celebration of greed and averice.

Personally, I'd rather they just say Happy Holidays.

Jesus has suffered enough.
