OK, Dan, I've just got to post a plug for you.

Hey, wow-thanks for posting those, but you know I'm not that holy, and I've had a lot of problems with my faith as of late.

But I appreciate the plug. You're a pretty great graphic artist on your own, and probably a better rep for Christ than I'd ever be.

I've been off the email and Discussion Forums for about a week; trying to spend more time in the Bible instead of posting and reading messages on the Internet. Jesus Christ was the Son of God, both God and man in the flesh. It's demeaning to refer to Him as being anything less.

Wise men-

Christ Jesus-

My neighbor is a wise man too, so is my car mechanic. I've met a number of other people who think they're wise but aren't. I wouldn't mistake any of them for Christ.

Not only that, but this is a journalist reporting on religion. If she was to attribute a quote by Mohammed to some generic 'wise man' bet she'd hear about it.....

I don't believe that calling Jesus a "wise man" is either putting Him in the same category as the wise people you mentioned or demeaning Him (Jesus was, after all, a wise man).

I can somewhat see your point, but it seems a bit nitpick-y.
