The Thanksgiving Thread!

Along with the things you mention I would also like to thank God for His provision, for His grace and mercy, for His love, for forgiveness, for His son who took my place. For all the things that I dont deserve but God does for me anyway.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings in my life. Thank you Lord for a providing me with a loving family. Thank you for my wife, my children, my grandchildren, my mother, and for the rest of my family. Thank you for our health and our prosperity. Thank you for the roof over our heads, the food that we eat, the water that we drink, the warmth in the cool months, and the cool in the hot months. Thank you for the love that you show us daily. We pray to you that you look after the ones that are not as blessed as us. In Jesus name. Amen.

PS. And thank you Lord for IaR which has started such a wonderful thread.

We dont have thanksgiving.


However one thing I'm thankful for, had my last uni exam friday week ago, got my two outstanding assignments back and managed a good pass in both.



I'm greatful that the semester is finally finished, and also greatful that I got through it in one piece. Was rather rocky for the last 6 weeks



Also thankful for the safe arrival of my niece. There was some major concerns intially, however Mum and Bub doing well

I would like to thank God for me and my son's health. I took a huge health risk conceiivng him and we are both healthy, which is a miracle from God.
My son is a blessing.
I also want to thank God for saving me those 29 years ago.

I want to offer thanksgiving for Doris, my neighbor who invites this widow lady for dinner every year. I'm thankful for my friends and family who love me. I'm thankful for my little house and my littler dog. I'm thankful for my 4U friends. I'm thankful that I have a sufficiency of everything. I'm thankful that Jesus never stopped chasing me, though I managed to evade him for 54 years. I love you, Jesus.

I'm even thankful for 4U.

For our large or not so large intellects, could've been worse right? Thankful for people who cart me around cuz I can't drive.. And being able to go to school..

Being able to be a christian and be open about that. To not live in fear that my choice of path will loose me everything

To be able to walk into a church on sunday and fellowship with other believers and not to have to worry about informants

I first and foremost thank IaR for making this thread, and having the conviction to defend it and raise awareness of it.

I'm thankful for my beautiful wife, and I thank God for allowing me to meet her and trick her into marrying me.

Father God, I thank you that I live in a country where I can shout your name from the rooftops without fear. I thank you for your grace, mercy, and most importantly your love. I thank you for my friends on CF/4U. I thank you that you meet all of my needs through your riches in glory.

As I made my list of what I was thankful for, I had the same reaction IAR. Praise God for he is worthy to be praised.

If everyone spent a few minutes every day being thankful, this world would probably be a much better place. It is so easy to get caught up in the minor inconveniences (not to say that there aren't real problems that people have to deal with), that we forget how much we truly have to be thankful for.

Thank you for reminding us of this IAR and for starting this thread.

I am thankful for God's wonderful grace, and His awesome love.
And for all the blessings He gives me every day.
And above all, for the incredible privilege of knowing Him!

Thank you Lord for this new day. This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice & be glad in it.

Thank You that Your mercy and grace are new every morning, Father.

Most importantly I want to thank God for Saving a soul like me from myself and my own hand at times. For keeping me alive even when I didn't want to be alive and tried to take my own life.

Secondly I want to thank the Lord believe it or not for the affirmities I have because I have learned that I was given them because I am strong enough to bear them and that means that God has Faith in me. I have also learned what purpose I am to be used for and that is to help others that are similarly afflicted.

Third I want to thank the Lord for my family but especially my three little girls (who aren't so little anymore) and my husband. Without them my joy would only be half what it is now if that at all. They bring such gifts to me all the time just by being who they are.

Fourth but not any less important I want to thank the Lord for his forgiveness and Grace extended towards me many times over. I know there have to have been times I have caused my most precious Lord to cry, but He has never left me.

I want to thank the Lord for my friends that care about me and show it in no uncertain terms and for allowing me to care for them in return. Most importantly the times when I have been used by the Lord to help them.

I can live without the monetary things if I have all these things, true it would be hard but i would have the best of the best that God has to offer and for that I am thankful this season. And most importantly thankful for finally seeing it in that fashion.

I am eternally grateful to 4u for always being an outlet for me to type away my thoughts and to be able to share with my online family of Christians. Which btw I love with all my heart and believe with all my heart that this place has God in it in so many ways. For that I thank God too.
