YET EVEN NOW

What is this life without Your love
Without my God on high
If when my eyes can’t search above
I feel as though I’ll die

What is this life when void of peace
When hope has ceased to be
What’s left to do when tears increase
And eyes no joy can see

When trust has ventured out the door
When daily prayers decline
When worship’s left Salvation’s shore
And faith’s no longer mine

What is this life when God I fail
When day and night seem one
When pessimism drops its veil
Replacing hope long gone

What’s left to do but sit and weep
Wandering to and fro
Recalling nights of blissful sleep
Within Salvation’s flow

When still this child was in Your hand
When victory songs I’d sing
When Jesus' Ghost was in command
And Christ still Lord and King

I’ve shed in life so many tears
I’ve faced the great unknown
Though Heaven's love throughout the years
Had changed my heart of stone

I still believe You're always near
And grace You long to give
That even now! You’ll take my fear
And give me hope to live

Yes, time flies.....our other lad is going to be 21 soon, and our youngest turns 18 soon too. All grown up now, free!

Our week went along well and ended with a disco this evening as a fundraiser for the youth at the church we attend. Not too many there but everyone who attended enjoyed themselves immensely. My girl sang Pearl's A Singer when they did some karaoke for a while. Do you know that song? She and I love that one.
