Actually, the claim has some validity. Psychologically these people feel they have been told they are not allowed in society because of their homosexuality. Many have been kicked out of their parents houses, rejected by the churches they have grown up in, denied jobs or even fired for being homosexual, etc. As such, they develop this idea that since society rejects them they will reject society and its rules and live as they choose.

Except this event happened in San Francisco where homosexuality is open and acceptable behaviour.But still they feel they must let everyone (children included) see them in the nude engaging in masturbation.

Excuse me, going in? Some people happen to live along the parade routes for these "re-enforce the gay stereotype" parades. I lived in Boston one year, and the gay pride parade went past my window. I woke up early on a Saturday to loud techno music playing at 8 AM and to see two guys in leather speedos dancing on top of a fire truck.

And believe me-- no money was raised. The city had to provide this firetruck with my tax money nonetheless. So don't lecture me about "not going to the parade". For many people, the parade comes to them- whether they like it or not.

Stop complaining, they can do whatever they want to. Its not like the dancing, gay, techno, speedo men were holding a gun to your head trying to force you to become gay.

The city has to provide protection/funds for many people. Like when the nazis came to skokie, which has a huge jewish population, the police had to protect the nazis. They were using your tax money for that too.

Nothing worse then what is on tv or in the media.

When I was 10-11, I thought watching inappropriate content, especially gay inappropriate content, was hilarious. It didn't harm me at all. I'm straight and I'm doing well in college. (not that being gay would've harmed me, perse, but you know what I'm getting at)

What did harm, me however, was Christianity. Weird!!

Absolutely, it's not hurting anyone. I think it's breaking the law in San Francisco, but just like in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, what's the point of arresting all those people? You only arrest the ones that are threats to the public peace(read: violent criminals).

I've never been to the fair, so I don't know what goes on where. If kids want to go, then they go at their own risk. It can't be any worse for them than Battle Cry.

Yet very few of them are originally from San Francisco. That they've gone to a place where they feel they have their own counter-society does not change what they have experienced. In fact, it seems rather obvious to me that if they didn't feel discriminated against by society they would not feel the need to migrate to places like San Francisco.

One last thing I found interesting, the link to the claims of nudity goes to an opinion piece by the Baptist Press, though they claim the Pink News as a source. You go to the Pink News, which oddly is a UK webzine, and they claim their source is Americans for Truth about Homosexuality. So, regardless that a gay webzine published it, it appears the UK based webzine is solely going on an article by an anti-gay group. Also of interest is that they also claim heterosexuals were acting equally badly and one of the things they falsely attribute solely to homosexuals is a booth by Steamworks (which is actually BDSM and equally heterosexual in nature).

Er...the only attacking I see going on here is the horribly lopsided position the opinion piece you linked to took. I've found that very few organizations with the word "Truth" in their name care a whit about it. Usually it's just in there to give them a veneer of sincerity.
