I think they seriously want the US to lose the war on terror.

They decided to pass a resolution that does nothing but anger one of our biggest allies in the Middle-East.

I don't see why we need to do this now.

We don't have enough problems with the current

We have to go back to wwI?

I am wondering if our Congress(both Repubs and Dems)
are sane or not.

A better question should be what the hell is wrong with Turkey. It was a genocide.

But the problem happened 60 years ago. Why, in the current affairs of the world, make the big deal now?
THere are alot of more recent genicides in the world.

How about we just denounce Custer? He was doing Genocide of American Indians.

Actually, it was during WWI. It wasn't the Republic of Turkey- it was the Ottoman Empire.

We were around in 1916 when this was going on. Doing it 90 years later to any ally is just stupid.

Cute. Haven't seen that one 100 times on right-wing blogs.

But we did not do anything in 1916. Would you not recognize the holocaust becuase it would make Germany angry? It does not matter if it makes Turkey mad, it happened, and should be recognized.

History is full of bad things happening. If Congress tried to condemn/approve all of them then they'd never get anything done. Well, that makes it sound like they normally do something...

Anyways, this is about as pointless as Turkey condemning the US for our treatment of the Native Americans.
