Looks like we have a new male flirt in the singles section :p
yea pretty lady. I'm good at it too. I actually can't stand serial flirts, but I'm starting to see the fun that can be had. Haha I'm becoming just another insincere heartbreaker.

Oh dearie me, have you hopped on the back of a 'platonic' male friend? Cus it could indeed turn him on.

Definitely not. I'm pretty cautious in my dealings with the male gender. I hear enough from them to know some of the dos and do nots. But I was concerned after me, my flirtatious and well-endowed roommate, and my ex went home from dancing tonight. Her feet were hurting so he offered to give her a ride back. Then he took off to drive home in much more haste than usual. I just worried about why he was so eager to get home. Nothing I can do for him. He has accountability partners already. I just said a little prayer. :sigh: I have really devoted a lot of time to praying for his sexual purity. Is it wrong of me to worry that he still probably struggles with inappropriate content or masturbation? Purity is a huge deal to me, but I've always felt that Christians should be more open about sex instead of ashamed, so I never was embarrassed to pray for him. He even finally got accountability partners for the first time after I had started praying for him, and I've noticed his eyes roaming much less. But maybe praying for him is too weird and I ought to stop? :sorry: Oh well, tmi, I'm sure. I don't want the discussion to get off topic. I was really just worried about the piggyback rides. My roommate's faith is important to her, but I worry about her sometimes because she is so naive. She's 19 but right now she's dating a 33 year old commercial pilot in Las Vegas, and she wanted to spend spring break alone with him in Florida. Yikes! She's pretty hot so I'm always scared of these situations she gets into with guys, especially the ones who aren't Christians. She's like a little sister... I don't want her getting hurt or anything.

 You are such a great friend! God bless you for praying for him, and showing concern for your hot roommate, as opposed to what some other women show instead: jealousy. You rock! Just keep praying for her, God will keep her safe. :amen:

Until you get over your ex, it's probably best that you cut off contact. If you really love him, you'll want to see him happy (even if that isn't with you). Love isn't always roses and fireworks. It can be painful. Eventually, you'll come to realize that all you can do is pray and leave it in God's hands. Now to your room mate. Unless she has been living under a rock her whole life, I can't imagine her being that naive. But if she truly is, you should probably talk to her. It may fall on deaf ears though (hopefully not). Either way, now that she is in college, she'll learn pretty quick that most guys just want to get in her pants. Pray and hope for the best. That's all you can do in these situations.

Lol. I hate Internet flirting. It makes me feel like such a tool. Sometimes I'm wittier in words, but I lose the playful tone and the teasing eyes... where's the fun in that?

Of course I do. Did I say I was jealous? I don't even care if he does still like her. They're cute together. My purpose in praying for his purity is that I want him to be holy. He's my brother in Christ, right?

Heheheehe, well you are brave! Flirting in real life can be dangerous! It can get men thinking you are really interested in them, and chasing you around the place! :p :D

Yes, it's a dangerous tool! That's why I only bust out the flirting with men I like. Except for the occasional harmless flirting with longtime friends who know better.

Eight members and two guests viewing this thread? Wow, piggyback rides must be a fascinating topic! Either that or this thread is totally off-topic... ;)
They find the flirting in this thread too irresistable to keep their eyes off of. It's okay though. I'm used to being in the spotlight (wow I sound full of myself).

Yea. It really is too bad I'm only available to that one girl (sighs, I hope she finds someone that she loves as much as I love her). I'm sure there are alot of girls that would hang me up on the wall and never let me down if they got a hold of me.

Ahah! I knew it was going to happen sooner rather than later, you'd spill your guts over why you are single.

So you got dumped?
