The Milk of the Word
As newborn babes, long for the guileless milk of the word in order that by it you may grow unto salvation, if you have tasted that the Lord is good. (First Peter 2:2-3)
God’s word is not only for us to study or to learn, but even more for us to taste and enjoy. By tasting the word, it is possible to taste the Lord. Coming to the Bible with the realization that it is food and drink is the only way to taste the Lord.
