If Angels are real why not show them selves to every one? Why do only some people get to see them and not others? Why cant I see an Angel?

Biblically, angels were ONLY messengers. Never once did they reveal themselves on a casual basis (not biblically anyway). They also were revealed to comfort / minister (Jesus) or encourage (Gideon).

I would suggest that even seeing an angel won't make people believe. Pharasees saw Jesus' miracles and they were religious teachers then but still didn't believe.

Angels only appear to do the will of God so God sends angels whenever he wants.

Oh and people who say they will believe when God shows up in front of them but that's crazy. God says 'noone can look upon my face and live'. If He did, you'd be dead. Just like if you stand too close to a big bonfire.

I have seen an 'angelic being' one time. I was in church, standing and singing. It was a Pentecostal church and I was new. An angelic being came from somewhere near the front of the church-straight at me through pews and people and softly touched my left hand where it was resting on the back of a pew then disappeared. My arm tingled like it was asleep for over a week.

While a few folks have been healed when I have prayed for them and touched them, I can't say it happens a lot. So I am still waiting 7 years later, to know why God wanted me to know He sent an angel to touch my hand.

Hi, as the other poster said, we wouldn't know it, most likely as bible says:
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

In nt, angel appeared to Mary, Joseph, her cousin's husband, parents of John the Baptist,

angels attended to Jesus

of children it's written:

See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

angel appeared in the empty tomb to women

angel opened prison door in acts

angel spoke to philip in acts

cornelius saw angel in acts

angel appears to peter in prison in acts

and on and on.

Why we can't see them? Don't know, however I do have a guess. At times when angels appeared men fell like dead men, lost all strength and in one or two places at least, went to worship them not realizing it wasn't an angel.

If you or I saw angels today we might tend to put our faith in angels, instead of Christ.

Many do this anyway.

I've never seen one to my knowledge, however many many years before I came to Christ, I spoke with a man, and after I came to Christ always pondered if he was an angel due to the conversation we had. If he was, was just a man.

Otherwise, never seen one, he may not have been one at all, but many don't see angels, actually don't know many who do.

Again, they (angels) would never want to steal glory from God, so if anyone has seen one, and glorifies the angel, well thats a problem as you can see.

then we have demons,
who can masquerade as light:

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light

so then demons can also appear to us or to anyone as well ,and again, most wouldn't know such.

So, is important to be grounded in the truth which is Christ.

God says we are in a spiritual battle, and hence angels and demons are warring and we know very little of it.

Prayer is very important of course.

I don't know the reasons for visions but I noticed that I've never been looking when they happen...like not straining my eyes to see something but more like they come to you in a passive manner

The most important thing I learned in al, these years in that it really isnt what I can see that matters at all
its a miracle, a blessing ill never understand but not the point really, its just LOVE really that matters and thats what I hear too
that message

love peace God bless

Can you even handle seeing one, have you read how some look from what the Bible says look, I'm almost sure if you saw one, it will not be easy to handle, if your not ready/processed. I have thought about things like this, and you know what, I don't know if I could handle it. I mean, we people heart race fast when we think someone is behide us and we don't see anyone... lol ... Start small in GOD, read your bible and attend church and Bible Study.

IN the name of Jesus, AMEN

If you or I saw angels today we might tend to put our faith in angels, instead of Christ.

Many do this anyway.
I think that's the main reason. They have a task to do, and they are focused on the task, not on the attention.

There might be times that you will need to see an angel, to move toward safety. But we don't need that jostling in a normal day.

It reminds me of a retreat I was at, where nuns helped serve meals and take care of us. The sisters had been instructed not to chat with the guests too much, or the focus would be taken off what people were learning at the retreat. So they moved freely and quietly among us, serving us and attending to our needs. They didn't demand thanks or communication.

It was a little awkward, not giving them the decency of human interaction, but they knew what they were there for.

I like to watch zookeepers work, orchestras set up.. the action behind the scenes is more interesting to me than the presentation itself. The observer becomes privvy to the inner workings, the methods and secrets.

God will allow us in on plenty of inner workings if we invest ourselves in accomplishing His ends. The people I know who see angels, also pray for hours in the middle of the night...meditate on the Word every morning and throughout the day. I don't say this to promote a faith based on accomplishments and deserving... just positioning oneself.

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Heb 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.

Heb 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Although already said, what makes you so sure you have not seen an angel.

In Scripture, after Christ's death ... not even He was recognized at one point.

The simple answer is we are in the flesh and we see with eyes that are fleshly...and looking for those things that we 'know' and recognize.

As stated though -- you might not know when you are entertaining an angel (this is a scripture in Hebrews [13:2 I think...not sure though right now and in a rush).

Can I ask though...what 'seeing' an angel would bring to 'faith' (a belief without empirical evidence necessarily)?

Blessings.
