In this thread you can post Bible trivia and others will reply.

Its just a way to know how well do you know your Bible and all its pages.

The first one who can answer will have a rating of five from me or to the one who posted consequent questions.

Ill start.

What is the word that got about 42,000 Ephraimites killed for not saying it properly?

Can't wait to see other Bible trivias!

There are so many versions of the bible, but in NIV and New King James I believe it's green.

[Genesis 1:30]
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

But in the begining since there was nothing maybe it would be black... anthough that was never said but without light i think everything would have been in darkness.

Pharoh's Gen 40:20

Thus it came about on the third day. which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer adn the head of the chief baker among his servants.

(whom at that time were put into prison w/ Joseph who had told them what was to come)

Jesus

On the basis OF word was with God (we know God was first) so the word became flesh.

Knowing God came first THEN the word became flesh. we know that in cronological order Jeses was the WORD aka God in one if you will. Its like he came after himself while at the same time is able to site beside himself.

If that is not allowed as an answer i dont know what is but i would have to toss out Adam or Eve.

Im reading in Genesis 5:25 that "Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begon Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eight-two yers, and had sones and daughters. 27 So all the days of methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died. " I dont see where they was anything mentioned on the type of death he experianced.

When Methuselah was 187 he had Lamech. Gen 5:25
When Lamech was 182, he had Noah (Methuselah was 369 when Noah was born.) Gen. 5:28
Noah was 600 when the flood came. Gen 7:6

Nobody but Noah, his wife, his sons and his sons wives entered the ark.

187 + 182 + 600 = 969

Methuselah died in the flood

(either that or he had a heart attack just before :) )

Don't you think that's a little too coincidental? Why would you think God had mercy on Methuselah? The Bible doesn't say he was righteous...

Anyway - There's really no proof...just speculation. The flood came when he was 969 which just "happens" to be his age when he died.
