Deborah - God changed my name

In 1985 a pastor prophesied over me about the calling in my live and how God was going to use me for His glory, but there was something that hindered that and that was that I wasn't submissive under Hammer. And if I would learn to submit, the Lord would be able to establish His plans in my live. Well, it took my 10 years to totally submit to Hammer's leadership to learn about him being the priest of our home.

In 1995 I visited an elderly couple, (family of my friend) and she introduced me to her uncle. And he kept calling me Deborah. God used this elderly man in the prophetic. And every time my friend would correct her uncle; he went on calling me Deborah. One more time my friend corrected him and he said: "I know what you have said, but I can not call her that, if the Lord keep telling me her name is Deborah."

My friend decided to let it be. Back home I read the story of Deborah in Judge and the Lord showed me the connection between Deborah and me. I realized that I really changed and that Hammer was really priest in our home and that God was telling me that the time came that He is going to establish what He has said, because I was ready.

That is when God changed my name to Deborah and that is when God started to use me. I am still learning and changing with God's grace. Hammer, being priest in our home is also being transformed to the man God wants him to be and still learning and changing.

I give God al the glory and honor for what He has done and still doing in our lives.

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Eagle.

In 1996 the Lord said that he will use Willie to proclaim His Word and He will "break the hearts of stone".

Jeremiah 23:29
"Is not My word like a fire?" says the LORD, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

In 1997 we moved to Israel and Willie worked at a company in Israel and his fellow workers gave him a "nick name" in Hebrew. When we checked the meaning of the name, it meant "Hammer.

And the word of the Lord was confirmed.

I have to apologize for not getting back to you all. We started to develop our own web site and we have no background knowledge or training in this. We are learning by trail and error. I worked through a couple of nights and did not make it back here or even our own board was neglected. I will try to catch up soon. Thanks for understanding.

That is neat, I think the person that I identify with the most in the Bible is Ezekiel. He was a priest as well as a prophet in exile. I do not think people realize how much he cared about and loved the people that God wanted him to minister to. But like John the Baptist had the same Spirit on him that was on Elijah, perhaps the Holy Spirit is wanting to work in your life in a lot the same way He worked in the life of Deborah.

I have tried to show my wife ever sense we first got married, that she needs to set a proper example and be a good witness and testimony to the younger women and even other christian women in general.

Sense she comes from the Philippiens, they say you can talk the Filipino out of the Philippines, but you can not take the Philippines out of the Filipino. So she is going to have a impact on people, just because she was raised in a different culture and has a different perspective on things at times.

People like her, because she is a loving and a kind person. She does not ever say anything to offend people. Maybe we balance each other out. Thanks, JohnR7
