All the deciduous trees, the local history, freindly people beautiful towns and winter wonderlands.... I'm in the state of WA now but I lived in Nashua, NH and Manchester, NH and Brooklyn,NY(not sure if that one qualifies;) ) I suppose I should wander back to my neck of the woods. I do miss drives in the fall all the beautiful foilage, going antiquing w/my parents... Now its like the animated movie Brother Bear...tree, somethin brown with green leaves...tree ;) never ending evergreens...I've learned to appreciate their beauty...finally. Have a good one.

Portsmouth anyone?
What is there to do out here anyway. I'm new to New Hampshire.
Hubby went to High School not too far from the coast, so I have been on a few reunions over the years.

It is a very enticing place to live :)

I was born in WA. I highly recommend that you take the ferry to Friday Harbor from Anacortes (where I was born). The islands are sadly becoming tourist traps, but the ferry ride is worth the few dollars. I'm sure you will see a few orcas on the ride over; I usually do.
