Well, here's the story. My name is Aimee, and im not sure when I quite became a Christian. I grew up in an assembly of God church, but only because I was made to go. I didn't have a choice. When I finally turned 18, I finally gained that choice and decided to abandon church, but not the body of Christ, just the meetings. Well, I got into going with some friends and I got plugged into some good services.
But even though church attendance does not determine your salvation, i know, i've been through a lot of experiences that have built my faith, tested and tried and strengthened it too. Over time I should share in this forum. Subjects include depression, sexuality, and stumbling of faith/doubt. (You'll probably find me most in those kinds of topics/threads.) I even once almost decided about converting to another religion... and even though i was so close to that decision, I haven't left my God and Savior, my Strength and Help and Counselor and Friend. He's shown me many sides of Him.
I can testify to two main things - everything happens for a reason and His Spirit and Word lives.

Anyways, so about my username. It stands for "Forgiveness is greater than vengeance; compassion more powerful than anger." It's a quote off the movie Joseph. When Joseph was treated in such abusive manners, he just decided to forgive. That's God's Spirit right there. I learned forgiveness the hard way, fyi.
If anyone wants/needs to talk about forgiveness with someone, here I am. Open and ready to listen.
