Court Backs Ban on Abortion Procedure

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court upheld the nationwide ban on a controversial abortion procedure Wednesday, handing abortion opponents the long- awaited victory they expected from a more conservative bench.

The 5-4 ruling said the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act that Congress passed and President Bush signed into law in 2003 does not violate a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.

This is just the begining. However the next steps will take much stronger prayer and participation and we will probably have to wait for a few more years until the liberals aren't in power.

It just took 10 years and subjecting the country to the Bush/Chaney regieme to stop about 30 abortions a years.

Possible we could try a different path now ?

I'm not sure what his is, but mine is to try and work more on the general idea that abortion is a right and that people who can't speak or act for themselves aren't really people instead on the law. I fear greatly that when abortion is made illegal, with the current technology, they will still be easily performed. Look at what happens in China where gender based abortions are forbidden, but people still have managed to develop an unnatural populationshift in barely 50 years.

Apart from that: it's wonderful news!!!!

No. We can't.

Vote conservative til this abortion thing is off the table altogether, and then you can return to voting for your democrat presidential candidates.
