Who is against homosexuals ?

this is all very contentious!
My brother is a homosexual - I love him dearly and as a christian try to understand and support his choice. I would never cast him out like others may.

Am I allowed to pick and choose here, Tulc ? Because if I am I choose the other guy's answer.

Absolutly! My problem had nothing to do with you choosing, just in the way you framed the questions. It's good too see you and newguy101 agreeing on something, although I suspect there wouldn't be much else you would agree on outside of this forum.

Paul was a PHarisee. He correct people all the time. He also spoke with the authority of Christ.

Yep, after He changed him from a pharisee to a minister of grace He used him a lot. Of course He has to do that with all of us. Some of us more then others.

I have read a lot of these "homosexual forums" here and I don't see that any homosexual bashing is going on.

Certain Christians are standing up for the Word of God on what ACTIONS and/or THOUGHTS are SIN.

No one, that I have read, is against anyone. They (including myself) are against the sin and will not be silent when unrepented sin goes on among believers.

Hence why the Bible verse of not associating with gay people is so often quoted... how exaclty are you supposed to tackle the sin if you don't actually talk to the sinner??

That is what associate implies... if you go up and randomly tell them they are living their life in sin etc. etc. then i would be EXTREMELY surprised they would listen to you. However, if you simply ignored it and took them at face value then maybe they will have the opportunity to actually evaluate it fairly within themselves. It is the nag factor --- the more you say it the more they ignore it.

Part of the "gray area" comes from the fact that christains aren't against anyone, only sin.

Muslims from my heterosexual female experience. Well, the Muslims have a wife for breeding purposes. However, I was hit on by many, many "arab" men who wanted to have anal intercourse with me, as they believe anal intercourse with another women who is not their wife is NOT adultery. I had no second dates with them. The first dates ended quite abruptly.

I have never dated Asian men. However, the Muslim men I dated -- barf! They come out and tell you they are married; their wife is considered sacred, and all other women are treated like junk or they think women are for their pleasure and are treated like their personal call girl. That was my experience. So they may be against homosexuality, however they are hypocrites........ Ummmmmmmm? Get the picture?

Christians are not the only one's who believe in a god. And even if they are Christian this is only 2 adults. Two out of millions hardly represents all Christians, unless you want to be judged by the actions of 1-2 homosexuals.

It's not christian to hate anyone, nor to say that God hates anyone. That violates the most important commandment.

true, but we can say that it is wrong for christians to say that homosexuality within the church is just and good. Its funny how I have asked people to give me a verse from The Lord and Paul himself that supports homosexuality within the church and no one has come up with anything. Instead, they ignore that question and judge me for how old I am and not being wise enough to talk to them.

So you post pictures of radicals who don't follow God's law. Big deal. Anyone can call themselves Christians, few actually are.

And you have the power to decide whom is and whom isn't a Christian.
