Matt 24:
Woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
This has often puzzled me.
At first glance, upon reading this passage, I had believed it meant great persecution and sorrow towards those who were pregnant or had young children during the great tribulation.
I wanted to learn and understand. So I studied the Holocaust. I learned that upon the Jews' arrival to the concentration camps, women and children were immediately seperated from their husbands; and taken to the "showers" where they were forced to remove all of their clothing and then gassed, with no beforehand knowledge of their deaths.
Those who "escaped death" were made to clean up the dead bodies of their fellow brethren; by hauling the dead bodies to massive grave sites, where they were burned or left to rot.
The deaths of these women, children (and men) numbered in the millions.

I believe this may the first part of the fifth seal; which means that there will be another another atrosity similiar to this event in the future, to complete it.

Is this passage (woe unto them!) meant for Gods chosen, or for something else?
*Woe: suffering, affliction
I looked elsewhere in the bible to see how these words are applied to those, by God:
Isa: 5
*Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
*Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
*Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
*Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
*Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
*Woe unto them that seek to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
Jude1
*Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Core!
Luke21
*But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land, and WRATH upon THESE PEOPLE!
It is a punishment.
Enoch describes this event, in his parables:
In those days the nations shall be stirred up,
And the families of the nations shall arise on the day of destruction,
And in those days the *destitute shall go forth and carry off their children,
And they shall *abandon them, so that their children shall *perish through them:
Yea, they shall abandon their children (that are still) sucklings, and not return to them,
And shall have no *pity on their beloved ones.
*destitute: needy, deprived, in want of food and nourishment
*abandon: deserted, forsaken, given up entirely
*perish: to die, waste away, decay
*pity: sympathy or sorrow for others suffering, cause of grief or regret
Enoch's parable continues with strong warning against those who worship false Gods, and impure spirits; who are fearless of God, by reason of folly in their hearts. (chapter 99)
Who is this warning meant for?
Those who love one another, who fear God, and follow his commandments?
No.
We are already beginning to see the seeds of unnatural love, and hatred in Israel, as young women become martyrs for the name of Allah. They are killing themselves, and others through suicide bombings; by the belief that they will recieve their reward in their heaven, as their families who remain are paid well, for their service. Many women strongly want to do this.
Killing is encouraged in their children.
It is on the television shows; it is heroism of the greatest kind.
Yes, hatred is breeding upon the innocent.
(when) the antichrist makes his appearance; there will be an upsurge in violence.
And what is evil, shall be called good.
And what is wrong, shall be called right.
Just as the earthly seasons shall change, so shall there be a spiritual change among men.
'And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, but he that endureth until the end, the same shall be saved.'
