Snow Day!!!

Wheeeee, snow, snow, snow. Send some down here!

Yay! I'm at home for the day too. I set off to work with an 'emergency' pack (pair of socks, Turkish delight, cheese, banana and water!) in case I got stranded and my school was announced closed when I was half way there.

That looks like my yard! Burrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I am so cold!

Thanks for the invite but my store cupboard's full and I'm hunkered down for the duration!

Yep, our garden looks like that too. But as I don't know how to get a picture from my digital camera onto here, you'll have to take my word for it.

I'm off to open a parcel that the postie's just brought me (all the way from America), and have a cup of tea.

how lucky you all are to have the snow to enjoy! So far this year we have only had flurries twice, and the latest promised snow snuck by to the North of us this week.

we have had the cold, however. curently it is 26 degrees (-3.3C) and on Monday morning the wind chill was 7 degrees (-14C.)

Sue! You look like a little snow bunny in your puffy jacket! I'd love to see your dogs running and sniffing and throwing up all that powder!

Hello - well the snow is still going strong. I must be getting old though because I'm thinking about using my extra day off work to catch up on some sleep!

Yes please. The snow here's melting now and I'm not sure my camera's charged up enough to take a picture anyway, but it'll be useful for future reference.
