This is either a smart company that realizes the wealthy company will be the one getting in on the next energy need, or one that has to appear to care so they can pander to a Congress controlled by Democrats.

They're confused, they've been defending big oil for so long, they don't know what to do, give them some time though, they are resourceful.

As I sit here it is 15 degrees outside. I could use some of that global warming right now.

It's 48 outside now. It's normally about 10 degrees colder this time of year. And it's going to be in the high 40s to mid 50s for the next few days, and there doesn't seem to be a day where the low is going to drop below freezing. Last week it hit 70 something degrees. 70!

It's been the warmest winter on record around here. The Ski resorts are taking a pounding, they were able to make snow back in early december for a couple days, and one day this week. Last year was pretty warm as well, though not nearly as warm as this year.

That's ok, it was 20 last night, normally 48.

Out here in California. We've got some Artic Mass dropping in over the weekend freezing everyone So much for Sunny California (Well it is sunny, but Cold )

I have noticed it getting increasingly hotter even in mym shortish life. WHen I was a kid, in summer we would be lucky to get about 28-29 degrees celsius. If it hit 30, it was some sort of sign that the end of the world was at hand. Nowadays we regularly hit 34-35, even sometimes as high as 40...

I found myself amused the other day at a scientist saying "It's a 1 in a thousand year event, it's not anything special." But I have to wonder... we have no real way of tracking temperatures over that thousand years, so for all he knows this phenomenon has not in fact occurred before, and therefore is not a natural increase.
