Heavenly Father, Big Ed's wife is suffering from modern American life. We're stressed out over-worked, under-appreciated by our bosses, ruining our health for the sake of jobs that won't miss us when we are gone. We are neglecting the wonders of life that you have given us to pursue--what? A job that is meaningless ten minutes after we stop doing it?

Please Lord, show us all how to return to sanity in our lives and in our workplaces. Remind us of the things that are really important. Introduce us to the rest and peace that is available through you and through following your teachings. Give us the abundant life that we miss because we are so busy. Amen.
