In this part of the world we will be entering Christmas very shortly, so to everyone at NCF I wish you a merry and safe Christmas.

It is a time for family, giving, friendship, love and joy; and all in remembrance of the birth of our Saviour (who incidently was not born on 25th of December). But hey, at least we have a day to celebrate His birth.

Here's a holy :hug: and :kiss: on the cheek.
Love Hanney.

:D Just like a Muslim LOL. Merry CHRIST-mas to ALL.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; For your Light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your Light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
Luke 1:68 `Blessed [is] the Lord, the God of Israel, Because He did look upon, And wrought Redemption for His people, 69 And did raise an Horn of salvation to us, In the house of David His servant, 70 As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, Which have been from the age; 71 Salvation from our enemies, And out of the hand of all hating us, 72 To do kindness with our fathers, And to be mindful of His holy covenant, 79 To give Light to those sitting in darkness and death-shade, To guide our feet to a way of peace.'

The season is now based on the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus. That's just the way it is.

No, but the Almighty Denarius did.
:cool:
Is it still around and what did the OC Jews use for their own currency? :wave:

Revelation 6:6 and I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, `A measure of wheat for a denary, and three measures of barley for a denary,' and `The oil and the wine thou mayest not injure.'

denarion (Strong's 1220) occurs 16 times in 15 verses:

1220 denarion {day-nar'-ee-on}
of Latin origin;; n n
AV - penny 9, pence 5, pennyworth 2; 16
denarius = "containing ten"
1) A Roman silver coin in NT time.
