I think more than a few of us have known this type of joy, before. Looks like all the different pieces are beginning to fall into place for you, and it certainly sounds like you are on your way home! Please keep us posted, and God bless you on your journey. The problem is that the only number for a church I can find is the Holy Transfiguration and the recorded message said that the service times were changing and it did not say what they were changing to. I kinda need to know what time to show up for lol.
Edit: Just recieved an email from Father Peter and they are having services on 12/9 at 7pm and DL on Sunday at 12/10 at 9:30. I'm hoping to talk to him on the phone tonight.
Forgive me if this seems as spam or unnecessary to the rest of you but I feel like jumping up from my desk at work from happiness. Just reading these responses, watching the DL from Constantinople on the Catholic cable station and reading more about the faith has me more excited in Christ than I have been in some time.
Amazing isn't it? What was your impression of the chanting? I find it to be complex, warm, deep and exotic like a really good cup of coffee that you can swim around in.watching the DL from Constantinople on the Catholic cable station and reading more about the faith has me more excited in Christ than I have been in some time.

Have you heard Agni Parthene yet?
HERE is a link to the oldest Christian hymn - Phos Hilaron - O Gladsome Light
HERE is the joyous hymn we sing on Pascha (easter)
HERE is a bunch of other stuff...
Just remember though.....tradition is good as long as you don't put tradition over the greatest commandment of all. Love.
