Psalm 34:19

I love the verse because it gives me solace. Even when I'm unlovable to be around, God still loves me. Even when nobody cares about the pain and sorrow I'm going through, God does. He doesn't consider me a "lost cause" with healing emotionally. This is a great encouragement.

Right now my fave is Romans 12:1, 2
Because it reminds/admonishes me to ignore what the world wants , ignore the distractsions and traps of the world, ignore the pressure to live according to the secular ways, and focus on God's will and purpose for my life.

Hebrews 13:5

I've had abandonment issues in my life, afraid of losing people, and I was afraid that God would abandon me for messing up. This scripture has helped me a lot though because it teaches us that no matter what we do, God will never stop loving us or leave us. So it's really helped me in the area that I can count on God anytime and he'll always be there. He'll always love me unconditionally and never leave me, no matter what I do.

I have a few...

Isaiah 49:1-6

It is a reminder of the calling and identity that I have been given by God. I realize that there are certain points that traditionally have only been attributed to Jesus, but I can really relate to it as well.

Lamentations 3:18-24

Good for those times when you are ready to give up and say to God "There is nothing good for me here!" it is a reminder that HE is all we really need.

Ezekiel 3:17-19

A reminder based on my name... my real name means "Watchman", hence my username on CF. In a way, it affects my calling as well.

Jeremiah 12:5

A good reminder when I start complaining about how hard things are...

Mine is Proverbs 30:5(b)- Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. It always reminds me that no matter what I'm going through right now, it's gonna get better. If I can make it one more day, then I'll be alright.

Psalm 23.

When I was going through my separation, while I was helping one of my children her homework, an audible voice came to me, not once but twice "The Lord is my Shepherd" . I'll never forget that moment and I found out it was Psalm 23. It has been a comforting Psalm for me ever since.
God bless!!!
