The matters of science matter very little with supernatural phenomena.
Let's ask the question again:

May I ask a question? In matters of science, is it the average believer that lacks a bit of understanding, or is it the scientific community?

(in concerns of natural phenomena)

There are scientists who are believers, but who don't let that science take away or nullify what the Bible says. It's when scientists take science (and unproven science) over God's Word that you enter "dangerous ground"!

By scientist who nullify the word of God, do you also include scientist who consider themselves Christian but believe in evolution, and look at Genesis creation as something figurative, and symbolic?

If they consider themselves Christian, but they believe Adam and Eve and a talking snake never existed, are they "nullifying what the bible says"?

That question is irrevalant. It's common knowledge that postmodernist are more subjetive than intellectual. Ok so what?

It's not irrelevant.

And you said:

Why ask me?

He's asking because you're the one with an opposing argument, and you're the one who said you're trained on the subject.

Just a little tid bit, but most Christians at one point supported slavery.
Technically its scriptural. Though the modern thought cast it as evil, mainly because of racism, and abuse. But I personally feel we are enslaved here in america, just under a different form that gives the illusion of freedom.

And we are also called to be Slaves to Christ, I hope you do not find that evil as well.
As you can see by these forums, must of us have little or nothing, to gain by supporting gay rights,
particularly when most of us are not gay. We support it out of a sincere love, as did christians generations ago
that supported the end of slavery, and desegregation. We were always in the minority,
but our love in the end has always prevailed. And praise god for the power of mercy, and love.
The problem is slavery is not a sin
And homosexuality is a sin.

And I am not painting it worse tha nany other sin, as i feel it is just an abominable (Gods description)form of fornication.
