"God desires that all men be saved AND come to a (full) knowledge of the truth"...the word used is epignosis, which translated MEANS "full knowledge" as in God isnt hiding anything anymore.

We have the complete revelation from God with regard to ALL we need to know about how He worked in times Past, how He is working in the BUT NOW, and how he WILL work in ages to come.

All found by rightly dividing the Word of truth, and in Pauls epistles. Eph. 2:11, 12,13 and verse 7

And by the way...God didnt work the SAME in both!:swoon:

The good news given to Paul is the ONLY gospel that saves today.

THAT
is the gospel that God desires all men to be saved BY....and the MYSTERY TRUTHS given to Paul are the ONLY ones given the DISTINCTION of being that which "will ESTABLISH US"....

What about this word of truth:
"Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets."

A mystery isn't unknown, it is known but not understood.

"Now to Him who is able to establish you by my Gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, BUT NOW REVIELED AND MADE KNOWN THROUGH THE PROPHETIC WRITINGS by the command of the eternal God, so that ALL nations mightbelieve and obey Him--"

You like to quote this but forget the part about "prophetic writings".

"...the mystery that has been kept hidden...but is now disclosed to the saints"

"In reading this, then you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ which was not made known to men in other generations AS IT HAS NOW BEEN REVEALED BY THE SPIRIT TO GOD'S HOLY APOSTLES AND PROPHETS.":amen:

Paul helps us understand the mystery of the prophetic writings, again Amen.

The hidden son of Man is now revealed to the elect -but to the world at His appearing His revelation will be doom.

Jhn 6:61When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
[What] and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Isa 42:13The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
Isa 42:14¶I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, [and] refrained myself: [now] will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

The formerly Hid in God Son of Man is revealed to the elect -to those who are born of His Spirit, as Paul was- and not until He came in flesh of the second human being creation was anyone able to be joined to the "New Man's" Living Spirit by adoption.

The old man is Adam, the dead 'one' spirit; in Adam all die.
The New Man is Christ, the Living One Spirit. in Christ all are made alive -whosoever will.

Excellent verses full of wonderful truth !

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

For those who are saved, members of the Church which is his body....members one of another...and already joined to our Saviour.

Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

One Old Man, One New Man; and the contrast in Scripture:

we are persons born of Adam, first, and Adam is the old man which is the body of death of which each and every one of us is born into when we come into this world as the multiplied seed of Adam. The old man is a body, then, of which each of us is born into, on coming into this world, as members of the same.

The New Man is "Israel" -please note that fact in Isaiah 49, for one- , of which we are first born again a second time into when we are generated in Spirit by adoption into His One Living Spirit, which Spirit is "Christ"; therefore we who are born a second time into His One Living Spirit are called "Christians" -while we yet dwell in our old man bodies of death.

He, the One Living Spirit who is eternally the second person in YHWH, who is the eternal self existing Word of God, has come in the flesh of the second human being creation as Son of Man/Son of God -the living One, to be Kinsman/Redeemer to we in Adam.

His name is Israel, as to the second human being, and when we who are called Christians by His Living Spirit of regeneration joining us to Him are generated again -a second time -in our New Man bodies of human flesh made in His image then we too, will be called "Israel" -His New Name- and we will no longer be in Adam, but in Israel, truly flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone which we -by faith- have as our hope who are born of His Spirit now.

Understanding the fact of Adam being made one spirit [Malachi 2:15] , two persons in number in the beginning, the male and female persons [Genesis 5:2] but one spirit [Malachi 2:15], gives us an understanding of the second birth which is required to enter eternal life if we are to be "bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh in the regeneration, which is our heavenly hope, to receive the "body laid up for us heaven", in which we will receive the glory of the Father indwelling forever as sons of God in the "Beloved" "Only Begotten"" Living" "Accepted", "Chosen" "Anointed" "Elect" Human Being "house" which the "Firstborn"is the Foundation Stone of, for His glory to indwell forever.

The contrast to the old man is that the spirit we are born of, in Adam, is dead, not living, cut off as a son of God though existing.
But if we are born a second time into the Living Spirit, called Christ, then we are in the Living son of God by adoption and in the "body" which is the House He is buuilding for the Father to indwell.
Haggai chapter 2 teaches us this contrast and what and how He is making a New House in which to dwell, built upon the Chief Foundation Stone "laid in Zion Above" -which is the Woman who is Heavenly Jerusalem, of the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Unity at the cost of neglecting doctrine is a big mistake that many churches make today in the information that comes from pulpits, in my opinion.

The doctrine Paul speaks of is the doctrine given to him by Christ for the church today. That church is called the Body of Christ.

Do you see as much opposition to Pauls gospel today as I am seeing? I know we shouldn't be surprised, but it seems that lately the opposition is getting pretty fierce. I am of the opinion that Satan knows his time is short and is pulling out all the stops.

Have you ever read Keith Blades book on Satan and his plan for this world today? Wow..did that book open my eyes.

Have you ever read Keith Blades book on Satan and his plan for this world today? Wow..did that book open my eyes.
amen Walt.

I'm reading that book right now, as a matter of fact.

You are? Wow. We will have to have a discussion about it when you are done with it. My wife loved that book and told me about it. I couldn't put it down, it was so good.

I think that Grace Teachers today have such an awesome responsibility, and its always uplifting to see books written by them that are so edifying to the Body today. Let me know how you like it and what you learn about the overall plan that God has for the universe.

What authors do you like? I study mostly the Bible , but have a great appreciation for teachers who can help me to put together the pieces and who stay true to the commandment to rightly divide and study.

I, too, have read the book by Blades. Easy to understand and very informative with regard to the full plan of God from the very beginning. I highly recommend it for those looking to understand why it is so important to be a right divider.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Aren't these wonderful scriptures? This is the commission we are under today. Ambassadors of Christ telling the world that God no longer imputes their trespasses unto them.

I don't want to stray too far off the topic of this thread, but I want to respond to your question.

My favorite Author is God. The Holy Bible is one of His greatest works. By studying "the holy Scriptures", we can learn what God loves, what God hates, and what God does. When we know Him more, we trust Him more, and depend on Him more---"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

And when studying His "word of truth", "rightly dividing" is a precept that should be applied always. The principle of Biblical hermeneutics is helpful too. With all thanks prayerfully, I ask the Holy Spirit to teach and guide me unto understanding. I had to un-learn what man had taught me, and rid myself of my own knowledge and learn from God through His written word.
(Pro.3:5-6)
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
And lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct thy paths."

Many of us have 'head' knowledge, but 'heart' knowledge is by God's grace. For example, when we read a verse such as 2Tim.2:15, which by the way, occurs only once in Scripture...it should leap off the page and into our hearts. When a verse or passage, written only once should draw special attention to it.

Some or many may not agree with me on this, but that matters not. I seek God's approval, not man's.

It is by God's grace through faith in Christ's perfect finished work that we have salvation.
Grace teaches us how to live and what to live for.
The "law" only commanded, but "grace" teaches and gives the ability to learn.
"Grace" teaches us to look for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and our Saviour Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself for us.

If any fail to to look for that blessed hope, it is clear that they either know nothing of the salvation that "grace" brings, or that they have not learned the lessons that "grace" teaches.

Dear MAD doctrine promoters,
Be warned that MAD doctrine is in error and that thousands of years before the MAD doctrine was espoused by uninspired men in the last century the Holy Spirit had already made an especial point of showing our ancestor, the prophet of God named Enoch, the "hidden in God from the beginning Son of Man/Son of God, who was with God and was God and who had the secret name which no man was to know until the time of the revealing to the elect".

Enoch was shown that Son of Man as the "concealed, hidden in God not revealed Holy and Elect, Christ", who was to come and restore all things and bring garments of salvation to all seed of Adam who trust that secret Name which was to be revealed, who repent of their sins and find grace in His name.

If you read mere uninspired men and neglect to read that which totally without doubt refutes those uninspired men thousands of years before the men espoused their doctrines, then you should take pause and consider the facts:

1 The book of 1 Enoch was extant before the New Testament times and was believed to be Scripture by many early Church fathers who are on record, saying so.

2 Jesus Christ quoted the writings of the book of 1 Enoch many times in His teaching, and you should read it for yourself to see that fact:.Enoch refutes MAD doctrine.

3 Paul's distinctive difference in his preaching is because Paul was a student of the prophet of God, Enoch , which prophet of God he also quoted many times; as Peter, James, John, and Jude also did;

and he was given the revelation of the "Son of Man/Son of God" as the Risen LORD Jesus Christ -and that was given him last of all the Apostles, for Paul to also be His witness- Paul had his eyes opened to the knowledge of the Son of Man who is come in human flesh of the second human being creation to be the Beginning of the New Man race of humans who inherit the earth -whom He came as Kinsman of dead Adamkind- according to the biblical law of Kinsman-to redeem and restore, and to 'give' to us to inherit who are born again in Him in "His New Man image" so that the Father's glory can indwell us as His "House not made with hands". -which is what Adam lost when he died as "Adam, son of God".

Redemption "back" is the theme of Scripture.

Mad doctrine is not even close in grasping the biblical facts of these truths taught in the Word, but anyone can study for themselves and see Jesus Christ is the revelation Paul saw -and last of all the Apostles- and was Whom Paul preached.
The Messiah, Christ, the Anointed One, appeared to Paul and Paul had his eyes opened.
