God Bless you all, sorry to be such a stranger lately! I miss you and pray that you all feel the Lord's love today and everyday. I am enjoying my job immensely, don't always feel I am doing the best that I could...but I keep trying.

I ask you to please pray for my son, Josh. He is fighting something and has missed 2 days of school this week and is running a fever right now. Also, my stepdad is awful sick with a cold. I almost couldn't understand a word he said on the phone a few minutes ago. He is up with Mom from Florida for a visit. I pray they have traveling mercies and that we get a chance to visit tomorrow, that all's health improves so we can be together.

Thanks and God Bless, I will be back this week end.

Love,

Patti

Patti it's good to see you again. It's great to hear you're enjoying your job.

Will be praying for both Josh and your Step Dad. :prayer:

Good morning DF...
Lets bring all of our burdens to the Lord..Burdens belong at Calvary..There's no sinner He can't save. There is no burden He can't carry. There is no sickness He can not heal. There is no problem He can not solve..There is no bondage He can not deliver...Some people worry about bothering God with little things..As if some things are too insignifican to trouble Him with. What a limited view of our heavenly Father...Would you, as a parent, scoff at a festering splinter in your child's finger? Would you turn away in disgust from your child suffering with a grain of salt in their eye? Remember, this is the God who has not only counted every hair on your head..He has numbered them...He notices when number 15,663 is out of place or last...He takes note every time the cat next door to you catches a sparrow...He is not the question the size of your load, it's a question of the bent of your heart..Is He really your Lord? Is He really your best Friend? Is He really your Rock and your Hiding Place and your Refuge? If He is, you'll bring everything to Him; you'll find yourself at the foot of the cross a thousand times a day...When you think about it..it is not the load He wants anyway it is you...Just you...As close as He can bring you to His heart..As close as He can draw you into His arms..He'll carry your load, all right, because He is carrying you...Isn't that a comfort.? He is carrying us....Praise God...

Dear Sharon, I find I am moved to tears by your post. I needed to read what you have written. Often when the storms of life have hit me it seems I don't always remember that I am being carried through it all by my Lord & Closest Friend.

Love & Blessings
Rebecca

Just stopping in to say good morning. I wish I knew how to add those beautiful sparkly pictures to my posts, or where to find those wonderful inspirational sayings, but I guess that's not me. But I am thankful for you all. I hope and pray that God will bless you and keep you this glorious day, and that you would bring glory to Him and be a blessing to those around you and that your every need for mercy and grace would be met. Lord keep us from temptation, and protect us from evil. Heal our bodies, O Lord.

Good Morning (afternoon)!

I just pray that we all walk in the Spirit today, the we put the Lord first, and hear His voice.

Let us proclaim the name of the Most High!

Let us see His glory wherever we are!

Let us be reminded of His mercy and grace!

Let us not cease to praise Him!

Praise God to the highest!

The Lord has placed it on my heart this week that we must embrace our identity in Christ.

We should be walking upright in the knowledge that we are sons and daughters of the Most High.

All of the King's promises apply to each and every one of us.

There are no limits to His grace.

We need to place His miraculous power above our circumstances.

Thank You Lord for pouring into us!

Thank You for being part of our lives!

Amen & :amen:

Thank you FF for sharing.

I know I have been missing for awhile. Things have been hectic. I was promoted in my company.

Anyway I was reading an article about what the Amish that were involved in that horrible tragedy are up to. They have received over a million dollars in donations since the tragedy. What was the first thing they thought of. They thought of the family of the Man who murdered their children. They are donating some of that money to his kids to help them with their future.

How refreshing is that. They have the heart to think about the mans family that took 5 beautiful girls from them. When I read this I thought would I have the same compasion if this had happened to me and my family. I am not so sure I could have but after that happened those kids are not to be blamed but need care and compasion too.

Lord thank you for everything you have given our lovely family. Thank you for friends that care about the same things. Thanks for giving us this peaceful place to share our thoughts and prayers.

Isn't that awesome and glorious! What incredible models they are for all of us! God is being honored and glorified in their lives.

Many of you may have heard that the killer's wife was at a prayer meeting when it all started. I found out it was a Moms In Touch prayer meeting- Moms In Touch gather together to pray for their local schools.

Dear friends, I posted this in another thread but I would really appreciate your prayers also.

Please pray for my daughter and grandson. My granson was born in Sept. at 30 weeks and is currently in the NICU. He is doing great and has from the beginning (although he needs to learn to nurse and breathe at the same time.)

But, after over a month in the NICU my daughter is getting discouraged. She is just tired and missing her husband, older son, and her home. They live about 3 hours away from the hospital and she is staying with the new little one. I try to go over daily or at least every other day but I am no replacement for her family.

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers.

Thanks & God Bless

It's good to see you again, butterfoot. Congrats on the promotion.

Wow...that is truly amazing. Whenever I think of that incident I am always awed by the response of that community. It sets me back and makes me think of my response to petty things in my life. I can learn much from them. They truly are an example of what it means to be Christ-like, eh?

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery - Galatians 5:1

Just a reminder that we need to stand upright in Christ! We need to understand our place in the Kingdom, and remember that God's grace was meant for each one of us!

The Lord has set us free!

Cameron, it's great to see you again! Congratulations on your promotion.....that's really awesome!

I hadn't heard that this was happening, Cameron.....it's beautiful. And I join you in your prayer of thankfulness for all that the Lord has blessed us with.....so many things which we might tend to take for granted, but for which I am truly grateful.....my family and friends, and all the practical things such as a roof over our heads, fresh running water, food and clothing and warmth when needed.....beautiful trees on our property.....a wonderful church family and on and on.....thank you, Lord, for everything. May our compassion for others continue to grow under the loving guidance of our Father in heaven. God bless you, Cameron!
