I take issue with this one. How are you showing the world, if your congregation is only 20-30 people? What is the relevance of this statement? Why does it matter whether or not a group of witness sees you get baptized? The Eunuch didn't have witnesses. I'm not saying that baptism shouldn't be participated in, I'm just wondering how this specific reason contributes to the argument for the necessity of baptism. Does anyone care to comment?

Well I don't see the amount of people as mattering so much. Its about you willing to confess that you do Believe in Jesus as you savoir. If I were to sit in my car with the windows down blaring christian music and then another car pulls up with one person in it and I turn it down because I'm embarrassed. Its just one person, whats the relevance? Its the Confession of your faith.

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9-13

Acts, chapter 15, the council at Jerusalem, the apostles and the elders of the early Church were there.
Subject matter, old covenant traditional law vs. new covenant grace.
It seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to the apostles and elders, to require only 4 things of Gentile converts.
Water baptism is not among the four!!!!!

Eph.4:5, speaks of the "one baptism".
This "one baptism" is, by grace, through faith, into the Body of Christ.
Without this "one", baptism of the Holy Spirit will never happen, and water baptism is meaningless.
