Pack Cats?

Hi there!

My husband and I have recently adopted a cat (1 and a 1/2 yrs old) and she seems to be losing her toys (a small ball, a toilet roll and a plastic cork from the top of a bottle, so far) after playing with them for a day or so.

We have looked under furniture etc and can't work out where she's put them! She hasn't been outside yet so we know they must be in the house somewhere. All we know is that they're there when we leave for work in the morning and she's lost them when we get home at night.

I know that dogs sometimes hide their favourite things and that pack rats take things and hide them. Does anyone know of cats doing the same thing?!

We re-checked under the couches last night and found all the missing stuff under one of them! I guess we didn't check so good the first few times! But when we got home from work tonight they're all missing again!

note to self: check under the couch - properly this time!
