Congrats on 2 As. ^__^

Apparantly most people taught AS maths by a certain teacher in our school always have to retake...good thing I've done one of the modules already. Though I know I'll be retaking that. ¬_¬

I get my results next week. After which I shall return home and sit in my room, just to worry my parents. No matter whether I get good or bad grades. XD

I got AABC in my AS results.

Not quite as good as I'd hoped for, but I can always resit.
Nice.

I got that too, AABC. I'm actually delighted with that though, what with all the procrastinating I did. (Seriously, I spent the whole of study leave watching daytime T.V. in my dressing gown. ^_^ )

I'm gonna drop the "C" subject, maths. (Bleh) I was gonna drop it anyway, it didn't fit with my other subjects so I don't really mind about getting a C in it. I only messed up one module in the "B" and I'm sure I can get it up to an A with a resit. So yeah, on course for AAA in August '07. Happy camper here. :)

Congrats everyone!

Seriously? The whole of study leave? Phew, may still be hope for me yet.
Good luck with your A levels next year, 3 As is most commendable. ^__^

a C in maths is bad?!!!!!

WHAT?!!!!!

lol im so bad at math i'd love to get a C.

Eventually im going to go for A-level math so i can prove i can do it :) its an ambition. i was bad at math at school but i actually found i enjoy the subject. Once i found out i was dyslexic i found the possibilty that may have affected my math (no dyslexia does not affect everyone when it comes to math - but for me it does i think).

So im going for A-level math - and if i get a C i will be proud :D :p

(Before any of you say whats the point in going for it if your so bad - i know i can do it, i read math now and then, and im improving :) )

Good luck in your A-levels! I really admire people who choose subjects because it's a challenge to them and because they enjoy it, and not because they believe some subjects will be easier. I'd never have been brave enough to choose maths myself, but then, I always was pretty terrible at maths and science!

Heh go for it hun! My uncle did a degree in maths (he didnt even like the subject) but all his teachers used to tell him he was rubbish at it. But well...he proved them wrong. :) And got a first through hard work.
I wish my results were as good as some people's are now. I can just sound all old, jealous and cynical instead and say 'grrr a levels are getting easier than they used to be' :p I got ABB in my a levels 3 years ago, and was just an average, A, B C person in GCSE.

lol, yeah think my brain just shuts down and crashes as soon as mathematical thinking comes into being with me. My brain obviously doesn't want to know some things, lol
