I have been thinking about this and I dont know what to think about that. I mean can you really believe in God and then sin like crazy? I dont really believe that you can accept Jesus, and then deliberately sin because you believe that Jesus will forgive you. I think there should always be an effort to not sin.

You're right. If you're truly born again, the desire and effort is there to try and not sin and you will know the conviction of the Holy Spirit if you do.

Question for everyone
There are two passages that concern me:

Heb. 6:4-6

Heb. 6:4. For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5. and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6. and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
(NASB, 1995)

6. and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
(NASB, 1995)

I don't believe this Scripture is about the saved losing their salvation though it's often used by OSnASers to mean that. But look closely. One can be enlightened and take a taste of the heavenly gift and even in a small way be partakers of the Holy Ghost by being with Christians for a time. Many followed Jesus and His disciples and enjoyed the miracles and the preaching but I'm betting not all actually became Christians. They tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come but they fell away and did not actually put total faith in Christ. Notice that it says it's impossible to renew them again to repentence, not renew them again to salvation. Because they were so close and tasted of the gift yet refused to actually partake, they won't be able to come to the point of repentence again. Now that's my opinion, I know others believe different.

The words I have italicized are where I have questions. Does this refer to a Christian who has lost faith and rejected in Jesus completely that it is impossible to bring them to repentence because they dont want to? I have never stopped believing in Jesus even if I have put him on the back burner for a while. I want to repent, and I want to make an effort to eliminate sin but I can't do this alone because Jesus needs to be my partner. I prayed to Jesus last night, and in our relationship before whenever I would pray I would normally feel a connection with Jesus and feel him working in my life. Unfortunately, last night I felt nothing.

See above. Also remember don't base things on your feelings. I know that's hard to do because I don't even feel saved sometimes but according to the Bible I am and I'd do better to trust that than my feelings.

I want to turn back to Jesus because I remember my vow to him that I wanted to live a good life and be a good person and I know my current life is not following that vow. I know in my heart it is the only way for life. I remember what God did for me and I dont want to take it for granted and forget him.

I pray you'll do it! :)

On the bright side I went to church on fathers day and I felt a warm peace like never before and I will attend again ASAP.

 There's a reason we shouldn't forsake the assembling of ourselves together. I think it might help if you return to regular fellowhsip, study, and worship with other Christians. Several hot coals together stay hot a long time. Take one away and put by itself and it cools off a lot faster.

The other quote I have questions about is a passage which I cant find where Jesus talks about a born again Christian being a branch connected to him as he is the tree. He says the branch if it falls away it will be cut off from the tree and fallen branches get thrown into the fire. I dont know if this is the same message as passage 1. Can someone please explain that?

John 15:1-8
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
I think this is more about fruit bearing than salvation. Notice that it's men that cast the branches into the fire. It this was hell, it wouldn't be men casting them in. I think this is about being cast aside as being useless as far as fruit bearing is concerned, this person will receive no reward but will still be saved, yet so as by fire. The foundation of Christ still remains even though the works are all burned up. It's about our service, not salvation.

Here are a few commentaries on this Scripture:

I hope this helps.

Here is something that I've been thinking. Could this passage be one that is going for OSAS? I mean, it says it's impossible to renew them to repentance. But, could it be saying that in the sense of "since it's impossible, you don't need to do it". Kind of like "it's impossible to renew someone to repentance because Christ's sacrifice covered all of our sins, including the ones we would commit in the future." What do you think?

I suggest you read and re-read and then re-read again the story of the Prodigal son.
This little story has so much to tell. I have read it a hundred times, I think and every time I see another message in it.
The best part for me has always been the Fathers love being so great, he RAN all the way out to meet his repentant son. Wow.
This is a story about Gods love for his prodigals and just think, God the Father loves you so much he RUNS ALL THE WAY TO MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE AT.

What an awesome Abba (Dad) we have.
