so, what is your favorite quote/phrase from the bible?
Isaiah 9:2 -- The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

The light of shined upon a people chosen to take the Gospel of Christ to the rest of His creation.

Job 38:1-4

1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

2 “Who is this who darkens counsel
By words without knowledge?

3 Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
4 “ Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.

It's almost sounds like God is saying it like this: "Excuse me, do you think you know it all...I don't think so!" God with attitude...:)

Mat 17:25 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light.
And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.
And Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is well that we are here; if you wish, I will make three booths here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah."
He was still speaking, when lo, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him."

And of course my signature, from Malachy (1:11):
"For great is Your name O Lord, among all the nations, and in all places sweet incense and pure sacrifices are offered to Your Holy Name"

Isiah 53 is a great one. The level of detail thousands of years before the cruxification is just amazing. Psalm 23 is good, and matthew 7:7

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

1 Corinthians 1:21 - For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

As always my love to all and May God Bless.

:prayer:
Matthew 9:23 But go and learn what this means: "'I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

(Both of these are NIV translation)

The Feast of the Transfiguration has always been a favorite of mine.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:

but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
